It is a two way race, so fundamentally my chances remain 50/50 regardless of who I vote for. If I'm going to lose then I might as well lose cause of my own incorrect thought process rather than getting spooked by a poll.
Besides, both are going to say and do dumb shite in the meantime. The difference is that Trump is a pig whose reputation is built on rolling around in the muck. He's the Teflon Twat, nothing sticks to him.
Kamala by comparison is supposed to be the "sensible" option. When she says dumb crap, it chips away at the clean rep that she is supposed to be building up. She can't hide behind Biden's tomfoolery anymore, she's on the center stage and she's going to suffer for it. If she does win, it won't be because people want Harris. It'll be because people want the Dems in general or they just don't want Trump.
Idk about the polls but the optics still favor Trump heavily. Either way both aren’t good. Kamala trying to act different from Biden isn’t going to work.
At this point if you ride for Trump you’re down for a road that is a dark side of America. Plus there is a total sense of losing it from Trump and Vance.
Tbh it’s so clear and I absolutely love how Kamala is overshadowing Trump so much in the media and polls show positive shit. Hopefully she keeps that momentum up.
An alternative to dusty Biden and Trump is what this election needed and that’s why there is Kamala hype.
I am betting on the candidate that can actually talk sensibly like a politician, and not support a wannabe authoritarian.
Screw the cult. Vote for American democracy …
Donald is running away from debating her which he knows the optics and stature with them compared would be bad for him.
I just don't believe in all the Kamala Harris hype. There's no Obama level hype here.
The outcome is completely unpredictable, but I've given the edge to Trump, because he's a household name, and sadly
a lot of people just vote for what they recognize.

I think it's just optimism to be frank. Especially with young voters. No longer do you have to settle with an 80 year old with obvious signs of early dementia, now you have a much younger (in comparison) candidate.
What do you mean why so hate? I don’t want a guy who says I will be a dictator only on day one, a guy who keeps saying the election was stolen when it wasn’t, and Jan 6? It’s not propaganda it’s true. Look at what he says as it’s just ammunition against him. And look at the trend in swing state polls. Even Fox News is reporting it (polls are not indicating the election but you know).
And that’s just tip of the iceberg. It’s so absurd, and he incites political violence.
What do you mean?
I hate to say that the opinions on this forum are interesting in that it is so in tune with some other Internet forums. Typically usually more on the skeptical side of democracy as it’s the Internet. But as soon as those rights are taken away, then folks complain.
If you want a con man who wants to turn America backwards, I can’t really convince you.
But I don’t want a wannabe king near the White House. The GOP is mutated and that is obvious.
I can't jump in but im doing it anyway.
I hope she wins. Not because I like her (she looks both evil and stupid)but because anything is better than Trump.
Do you do this on purpose or are you that uninformed? He said he would be a dictator on day one and at this day he would close the borders and drilling <- whatever the last one means... Both things he can do legaly by law,he don't need to go on tyrantmode to do so. Context is important if you quote Trump or you do it without on purpose like the left always do.
I hope so. The guy has become so used to having half of the country celebrate him like a pop star that he might think he can get away with anything and his voters will suck it up.
They support him out of desperation, out of the belief that he will meaningfully change something. That he will halt the decline, that he will stop the endless overseas wars fought in the interests of Raytheon's profits and that he will "drain the swamp" of the oligarchs that hold the real power.
They think to themselves that Trump just didn't get the chance to drain it last time, that his time was simply cut short, that he didn't quickly acquire enough power to curb the oligarchs, that the COVID-19 pandemic stole his momentum, that he was undermined by loyal swamp denizens in his administration like Pence and Bolton.
Trump was a snake oil salesman that sold them the product of himself and just like any salesman what he really wanted was personal profit. He's never going to drain the swamp. He's as much a toad as the rest of its denizens.
The only thing he truly hated about the oligarch political dynasties was that he and his clan weren't amongst their ranks. The reason the established dynasties hate him is because they hate the idea of an outsider waltzing in and setting his own place at the table without kissing feet first. The petty lawfare launched against him was very much real. Apart from that, Trump is useful in making voters believe that there is some meaningful fundamental choice to be made when there actually isn't.
Trump will still ultimately answer to the same interests as the rest of the political establishment, just like he did last time because it was in his personal interest to. There will be no meaningful change because the system is designed so that people cannot vote against it. There is no voting out of the quagmire that is the swamp. The Hegemony Wars waged in the interests of Raytheon's wallet and BlackRock's investments will continue, Yanks and their children will die to to defend apartheid Zionism and the oligarchs will continue to plunder the decaying corpse of the United States until there is nothing left to horde.
Nothing short of revolution or separatism is going to allow people to escape the system.
