Break Week Uh, this part of Oda’s message is extremely concerning?

Are you worried about the final saga based on Oda’s comments?

He said, in the translation I read:

“I also want to recompose the structure of the final saga to close it as fast as possible~"

UHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Biggest red flag ever alert? If he means to keep the same pace that the last few chapters of Wano have had with very rushed moments like the Kaido flashback, than that’s extremely concerning.

It doesn't help that Wano went on longer than he envisioned, he might just want to avoid another situation like that. Start cutting shit now before you actually get to drawing.

He did say he wanted to go cruising by 50
He isn't going to cut anything especially after he just added a new straw hat that will require a lot of panel time

The problem is that I’m worried about what he’ll cut.

In Wano we got lots of Tama chapters, but only 4 pages of Kaido flashback.

If he keeps that design for the rest of it then the story is in massive trouble imo.

We have 3-4 years left most likely. And that’s a lot of chapters. Some people will love, others people will hate or dislike.

Taking a month off and basically starting fresh after such a long saga and arc is plenty to bring freshness. Wano did overstay it’s welcome imo, and the payoff for such a hefty saga for it to end how it did…yeah I get people are worried, but it will wash away and everybody will be hyped again.
Especially the post Wano news stuff.

Oda does this every year saying, "he is in the final stages of his story and the end is year" which is nothing but a marketing ploy to boost sales. If people think the story is ending then they will more likely buy a volume. He said something similar last year and the year before that.

The reason people should be worried about the final saga isn't due to the statement he made but instead how he handled the Yonko saga which he had 10 years to create, build, execute and end.
