Just because he's old doesn't mean he got weaker or that he is out of his prime
He was promoted from fleet admiral to commander in chief, which is seemingly the highest military position one can have.
The only reason Kong isn't active now imo is because Oda is saving him for the final war. Hence I think he is stronger than akainu.
The final war will pit both marines and pirates against the WG, so I'd imagine that the WG in of itself will be a force greater than anything we have seen so far. Stronger than both the marines individually or any yonko crew.
The gorosei did say that the marines were only the outward face of the WG, which indicates to me that Kong, the gorosei, and Im are insanely powerful

The straw hat in Marijoa is actually meant to foreshadow to the return of Nightmare Luffy, who was many times larger than he is normally. Moria will betray the BBP during the Final War and place Joy Boy’s shadow into Luffy, necessitating the use of a bigger straw hat.

I'm starting to believe that Kidd actually has awakening. :unsure:
I mean, look at it this way.. out of all the supernovas, Kidd is the only one that has the biggest potential to compete and rival Luffy for the title of Pirate King... and the Kidd-Luffy "gag" of them competing for o-shiruko in Udon kinda shows how equal Kidd and Luffy seem to be.
Over the time-skip, Luffy was trained to use haki by Rayleigh, a very strong and competent haki user.. and the fact that Luffy unlocked AdCoO and - right now in Wano - AdCoA, it's not illogical to think Luffy is the strongest haki user of all the supernovas.
Kidd didn't have the luxury of being trained by the Pirate King's right hand man.. he had to overcome tough challenges in the NW over the two years and become "battle-hardened" to survive.. he even fought Shanks' crew and one of Big Mom's sweet commanders.. I could say, Kidd's DF must've developed a lot.
And so from all this, I believe that - whilst Luffy is the better haki user out of both of them, Kidd could compensate that by having DF awakening, and it could play a big role in the fight for Wano.

Sentomaru is a top tier
The SSG is supposed to be strong enough to replace the shichibukai, an organization with heavy hitters such as Mihawk and Weevil.
no matter how many pacifistas the SSG has, it cannot come close to replacing those two unless it has actual top tiers or characters who are close to top tier.
Hence, Sentomaru should be one. He already has advanced CoA, meaning his base form could have already been YC level back in sabaody. I presume that in the time between since we last saw him and now, Sentomaru has gained a massive power up from vegapunk.
on a similar note, Smoker and Coby should be YC level if they have anything to do with SSG.
