Usopp is the man who turns lies into truth, there are too many instances to count of his supposed lies become actual plot points and in Onigashima lies about having conquerors Haki and slaying two beats.
While the CoC thing has been discussed to death and I definitely believe he will get it I also think some people are overlooking his given epithet of beast hunter.
The two Gorosei I believe Usopp will kill are Mars and Saturn. Warcury is also killed by an archer in mythology but I feel that it is too obvious that he’s gonna fight dragon.

In Japanese Mythology Itsumade is shot out the air by a master archer who subsequently becomes a legendary warrior after this feat. This is another clear parallel to Usopp and his brave warrior of the sea dream. Usopp also once commented about a “long bodied Demon Snake-Man” during the Long Ring Long Land arc. This fits remarkable close to the Itsumade who is a large flying snake demon with a Man’s face.
