Two friends of mine used to pull my legs because *bald*....I simply told them one day they will go bald themselves....

Few years later, I can see their hair density getting thinner and thinner

I wouldn't wish someone getting bald not even to my worst enemy

There are ofc exceptions but you know that if you "break the rules" whatever written or non spoken, people will tarnish strangers over it.

lol i'm drinking a lot of water right now because i accidentally ate raw(ish) chicken, and from what i've read, i have to stay hydrated to lessen the chances of something bad happening (never let me cook again)

If she didn’t mean it she hasn’t owned up to it lol. And I doubt she ever will. I may have a misread on her but I genuinely imagine if she heard I broke my leg tomorrow she’d be happy about it as I was “served right” lol.

Let me be clear, her and I will probably never be cool again lol.

Because I don’t believe I did anything morally wrong so I’m not going to bend over to fix it, and I don’t think she’s someone who will ever care enough about my end to try to salvage anything.

If she was just mad at me or yelled or whatever in a reasonable manner it’s w/e. But she went above and beyond, then blocked me on discord after yelling at me one more time over there too in personal messages lol.

but some of the things she said to someone who should be her friend is not

I understand it to be the default but cannot comprehend why it's the default.

Like if someone passes the red light I wouldn't give two cents about it. Others would just rant to that person like they've been wronged by them somehow xd

I mean I don't think it's a bad thing to know where you stand with someone. If you think someone is a friend and then they treat you like that, I for one am glad for it because it makes it much easier to deal with, as opposed to the trust factor that comes into play when someone who is a friend does it instead.

Though I'd like to think everyone here means something to the others here, if anything just simply because of the amount of time we spend in each other's capacity. I've been upset at people here and even dislike them at times/currently. But I know that at least I'd feel bad if something awful were to happen to them/in their lives

I fundamentally agree but also for many they simply do not care about others in that way. Some of it is how they divorce their interactions online from their "real" interactions, which is fair enough. Some of it is because through the veil of anonymity people just don't care vs their own interests. Ultimately I think it's a good thing to know who these people are, as the last thing you want is to be upset over someone caring less about you than you care about them. It may be a shock initially but it becomes much easier to accept.

Mostly when I was writing that in my mind I was thinking about RL.

In here or other forums everything's more loose and casual so it's more "gentle" overall, if that makes sense.
