He gives orders to members, without Luffy he has the most authority in the crew



he checks the situation of the team, like an old father of the team



he calms the ally in tough moments and also sets an agreement



and most importantly, he saves his energy and chooses the most urgently crucial opponent of the game
Sanji challenges Kizaru for a dual (and does not ask Jinbei for help)



TO CONCLUDE: purely a fighter can not make you a real number 2, it just like a young kid proving himself, use your mind instead and only show truly who you are in decisive moments

Sanji was also introduced with the other vice captains of law and kidds crew back in sabaody.



He did this in wano, zou, dressrosa, punk hazard, thriller bark, ennies lobby, water seven, long ring, skypiea, etc.

Sanji has done this since he joined. He is the vice captain whether people like it or not. It's simply the truth. He fills this role more than anyone

No VC would leave the crew for selfish reasoning then go onto continuously kick the shit if their captain who isn’t even fighting back and the best he could do is knock a tooth out.

Sanji realistically is lucky asf that Zoro hasn’t found any of this info out tbh

Zoro had to teach Luffy what it meant to be captain throughout the entirety of Paradise while being willing to give up his own ambitions for Luffy.

So what happens if he finds out Sanji kicked Luffy ?

Nothing changes all of their fights are mostly gags it’s like Inurashi and Nekomamushi , they have love-hate relation .
I would say Zoro will be pissed about it but would understand Sanji’s actions as well nothing much changes really .

Well they are a crew, friendship and all, if zoro was in wc he would be upset with Sanji, thats all tho. Nami 2.0.
