This Shimotsuki Clan probably will get more light in the end of the arc, if Zoro go to Ryuma grave. He could meet the Fox again, or even talk with Hyogoro/Tenguyama, who probably know more about Wano history.


About his parents, they probably are in Koushiro age range, while Ushimaru looks more in Kouzoboro and Tonoyasu age range, pehaps the three are siblings, and Zoro mom could be daugther/syster of one of those three Shimotsuki, while his dad is a native Roronoa from East blue.

The only thing i wonder is if one Zoro parents left Wano together with Kozaboro, left after during the Kaido takeover or was already born outside Wano, pehaps in Shimotsuki Village.

Finally after so many years we know the name's of top RH pirates!:steef:

It is interesting that RH/Beast/BM pirates are very similar when it comes to top guys:

3 elite officers/3 calamities/3 SC

5 officers/Flying 5/4Vets+Snack

I expect that Rockstar is like a headliner,so we will probably see like 10-20 guys like him in Shanks crew,can't wait to see their designs.

Also it is nice that we found the name's of two Daimyo's that were in prison with Shimotsuki Ushimaru,always loved their design's.

But for Zoro and Ushimaru it’s ten times more lame and incoherent : Zoro is raised in Shimotsuki village, was close to the old shimotsuki blacksmith, had a relationship with Yasuie Shimotsuki, has a relationship with Ushimaru dog, has a massive ressemblance to Ushimaru himself, has a massive ressemblance with Ryuma who was also a shimotsuki etc etc

If Zoro is not a shimotsuki at this point it’s stupid and if Oda doesn’t explain anything about Zoro ancestors it’s beyond stupid

Okay so if Zoro was raised in Shimotsuki village, surrounded by members of hus own family… Why doesnt he know any of this? Why doesnt Zoro know Kuina is his cousin or whatever and that Kozaburo is her grandfather?

One of the main MAIN problems with every Zoro is a shimotsuki theory was that No one could explain why no one knows anything about this… No one could think up a reason why Zoro was sent out of wano, why Zoro has a different name, How Zoro left Wano, why Zoro doesnt know of his shit, why no one else cared to tell Zoro… Nothing…

And i have to admit, if Oda wanted to he could actually get into every singoe question above but clearly Oda didnt want to… There are too many questions for how insignificant a plot point this could be… This entire thing would’ve required like a minimum of 3 specifically dedicatee chapters to explain all this lore on top explaining why it would matter in this arc

And after 130 chapters of this arc and no build up to explain any of this, the obvious answer is simply, none this ever mattered at all… There was never anything to say
