He already showed it when he was concerned over Killers state at Udon and especially when he madehis crew laugh along with Killer to not make Killer feel so like an outcast/weird/a cursed freak or w/e.

I love this though, even though its so brief and not in the manga, I'm glad to hear his backstory finally. Him naming his ship after that girl is a beautifully, wonderful and heartfelt tribute.

All the more reason I'm glad to be a fan of his too.

Actually, if Guernica didn't come back with Maha, and that Maha was handled the photos Guernica had, then it might be possible Guernica is still back in Wano.

Turns out he actually has a large crew

Not even going to mention how dramatic it is for Oda to reveal Kid's back story in an SBS rather than in the manga :josad:

Stealth Black only has one main ability anyways...so it would make sense if he can only access it via RS.

Very much expect kid to get a novel in the one piece magazine like law’s crew did, honestly don’t think this flashback is super necessary or would’ve fit in the wano arc, but kid and killers relationship 100% needs more screen time if they’re going to be integral to the final saga.

Guernica is dead and the other dude went to roof to pick up the photo he snapped before bouncing and I will not believe anything else until stated otherwise

If Kid is popular enough he 'll get his spinoff, written by random author and Kidd fans can make a cope that the spinoff is part of the canon.
These spinoffs are like fanfics under official Shueisha banner.
Shueisha and Toei will milk this franchise cow for decades to come.
One Piece will become the new Dragonball.

This was low oda , even for you.

So kid is a tragic romantic anti hero who became rouge pirate after losing his childhood love. Even named his Ship after her. That's romantic.

PS - Had potential to be a great backstory with some nice chapters .
