Buggy basically allied himself with a Yonko level character, lol.

And that alliance defeated 2 Yonko overnight, it's obvious that the most infamous captain (the one with a notorious fleet) would fill one of the spots

Again, Shanks must have done something of that caliber in order to become a Yonko himself. And he certainly didn't add someone equal to Mihawk to his crew 6 years ago.

Meito Blades are Ranked by their Sharpness
Meaning the Higher it's Grade, the better it can be used for "Cutting"

As explained by Zoro in Mr. 1 Fight, a Swordsman chooses what to Cut
He can even make his Sword not Cut, indicating that it's all according to his Will
But the Sword/Blade is still the Medium for such Will to Cut/Damage

Meaning every Grade have a Limit to the Level of Tasks it can Handle
If you wanna aim for a Superior Feat and you have the Will for it, you need to Upgrade your Blade to be able to handle such Task
And if the Blade isn't living up to it's Potential (Level of Feats/Tasks it can handle) cuz the User's Will isn't Enough, then it becomes Disobedient & hence Cursed

You can find Characters who can handle Meito of Higher Grade than the Ones They have, but They simply don't want to cuz They aren't aiming for a Task/Feat that their Current Swords can't handle, for example, nothing suggests that Ryuma or Oden couldn't Tame a Supreme Blade, it's just that They never faced anything that required them to Upgrade

Which brings us to a very important Conclusion, those who wield "Supreme Blades" represent Individuals who needed to wield Weapons that can handle Tasks that are "Greater" than even Cutting Kaidou [As Oden & Zoro proved that Great Blades can Handle Kaidou's Body]

So it doesn't matter who you consider to be Swordsman or Not, but it doesn't change the Fact that Supreme Blades are created to handle Materials & People more Difficult to Damage than Kaidou who can also Tank almost any DF, meaning those who Wield them at some point in their Life discovered that there are Enemies harder to Kill than Kaidou & only Solution against them is to channel their Haki in these Blades, as They are only Weapons that can handle the Will to Kill such Enemies

It's pretty clear that Supreme Blades were forged with Intention to Slay Yokai & Lunarians & maybe others We haven't seen yet.
Fujitora wielding Supreme Blade now makes Perfect Sense, cuz this means that his Goal is to actually Slay Someone who cannot be Killed by anything less, which is probably related to what He saw that made him Blind himself

I wonder if Fujitora's Target is actually Imu

What if Fujitora and Aramaki made a bet, and Aramaki won, so he got the actual black blade, while Fujitora took the supreme grade one

At the same time it doesn’t necessarily mean all 3 are necessary. Kuma lost his mind and is just a body but still able to “live”. Vegapunks original body is dead went his mind is still alive. Then theirs brook and the homies which are just souls inside inanimate objects for the most part

Tho as I’m typing this maybe instead of being a Venn diagram with 3 separate circles it’s just 2. With the body and mind being a circle each and the soul/spirit being in the middle being a part of both idk

All that just to say I think devil fruits and haki follow the same pattern


Haki being an extension of each
  1. Observation being of the mind
  2. Armament being of the body
  3. Conquerors being of the spirit/soul
With it being possible to train your body/armament and mind/observation haki but not your spirit/conquerors because it’s a non physical embodiment of both in a way


Devil fruits in a way also fit the whole mind body and spirit/soul trifecta
  1. Paramecia being powers that enhance the mind. Them being all about dreams and creativity
  2. Zoans being powers that enhances the body. That being pretty self explanatory
  3. Logia potentially being powers that enhances the spirit/soul. Maybe changing your spirit to reflect that natural force


It also applies to the awakenings of those fruits. While yes you need your body and mind to catch up to the powers the powers you get still reflect each
  1. Paramecia awakenings allow you to in a way expand your mind to affect things in your surroundings. Including inanimate objects
  2. Zoan awakenings just gives you access to an overall stronger better transformation enhancing your body further
  3. Logia awakenings although we don’t have any confirmation what it is yet it probably relates to the spirit. If the theory of them being able to make separate living things based on their logia powers similar to big moms homies it’d make sense tho. It basically giving life/soul/spirit or whatever you want to call it to their powers

Maybe that’s why vegapunk struggles with making logia. Because it isn’t something you can physically effect really

Thinking about it what if the fruits the secondary batch of zodiac have match their blades unique attributes

So imo/theory
  • Mind = observation haki and paramecia fruits
  • Body = armament haki and zoan fruits
  • Spirit/soul = conquerors and logia fruits
As for how that could potentially connect to their blades I think maybe they might also fall into those 3 categories of mind, body, and spirit/soul. Oden and zoro could be good examples

  • Ame no habakiri = mind
Zoro
  • Enma = body
  • Wado = mind
  • Sandai = spirit/soul


Going back to the admiral replacement and their blades unique trait
  • Fujitora has a paramecia and is more observation haki focused so his blade might effect the mind
  • Ryokugyu has a logia and while idk if he or the others will have conquerors his blade might effect his spirit
  • The as of yet nonexistent orange maybe having a zoan, armament haki focus, and a blade that effects the body

but honestly , @MarineHQ @SakazOuki it didn't make sense for Admirals faction to not have a single saijo blade lmao .

we got 3 factions of Power that balance each other and a hidden one, Let's see :
> Yonko Faction :
Whitebeard - Shanks are Saijo Users

> Warlords Faction :
Mihawk

> Admirals Faction :
Fujitora

> Elders :
Nusjuro

that puts Fujitora as a High Top Tier on Kaido and Shanks level .
