Bullets don't hurt. But Taxes do.
If I recall correctly, there's a Zaitochi(Fujitora's model) episode that had Zaitochi staying in a village for a bit, and defended it from attackers. His actions got him deemed a criminal and hunted.

Oda really likes using stuff from those movies. Even for Kizaru and Akainu, their relationship is based off a brotherly bond their actors played in a movie together.

THE KIZARUBER EATS, THE KIZARUBER EATS IS REAL!
You know what's funny?

:milaugh:
GB AND FUJI are like counterparts of Sanji and Zoro but also Law and kidd

Fuji from West blue --> Zoro from east blue
GB from south blue --> Sanji from North blue

GB and Kid are from south blue ...:kata:we might get their flashbacks if they fight
Maybe Kid once stumbled upon GB (before he became an admiral)

Kidd hates the Celestials too, Green Bull simps for them.

Law faced Fujitora before and Fujitora has shown he is not truly a loyal dog to the Marines and WG, he's disgusted by various things in the world including pirates I believe and Law has seen the uglier side of both pirates and the WG too.

Gravity fruit is a great counter to Shambles and Law vs Fujitora would go HARD if they had a proper fight too!

Kidd who thematically fits the Ox Demon King from Journey to the West (Wukong/Monkey King's story and thus the rival of Wukong too) like Kaido does and Green Bull could for him too!

Kidd vs Green Bull could be a clash of technology vs nature, in some games/stories and such, you see nature fighting back and taking over cities, especially abandoned cities and reclaiming what modern civilisation and thus technology and pollution took away from them and ruined.

Someone else can explain this much better than me but you get the idea I hope ofc?

Kidd and Green Bull are both bull headed, aggressive, stubborn, lack humility, brash and such. It's the ideal matchup. Green Bull likes to turn into a giant tree and make giant fists, Kidd is a brawler type, it works out very well for them to fight each other.

I've always thought Sanji and Zoro are like the 2nd generation brothers of Luffy and Fujitora and Green Bull are the 2nd generation of brothers for "Sake Cup" Sakazuki (Akainu ofc) and thus Kuzan and Kizaru are his OG brothers. I thought Akainu was gonna lose Kizaru in Egghead and get his karmic "Ace moment" in return ironically.

But yeah that I didnt know Fuji was from West Blue! Given slave hunts seem to happen there, maybe thats what made him blind himself? But I think it was said more recently at least that it was due to pirates? Or he said so in the past? Idk.

Fujitora West Blue vs Zoro East Blue and South Blue Green Bull vs North Blue Sanji is VERY interesting too! Zoro vs Fujitora is thematically too perfect anyway but given Green Bull uses trees/plants and thus wood (even has fireproof wood though), fasted for 3 years and survived without eating, has a seemingly tragic backstory involving a murdered lover or a lover who commited suicide or at least tried to commit suicide or something like that, it sets him up as the PERFECT match for Sanji to fight, as Zoro faces Fujitora ofc! I wanted Zoro vs Kizaru or at least Sanji vs Kizaru too and ideally Sanji vs Kuzan especially after kidnapping Pudding but I love this!

Especially with you said about Kidd and Green Bull ofc! And how Law and Kidd parallel/tie into this!

I'm not feeling 100% myself, not really fully coherent, so I hope I make enough sense somehow lol.

Kizaru and Guernica would have been good pals
I can definitely see that! Thats canon for me. I wonder if its part of the reason Kizaru wanted to go to Wano then too, knowing Guernica was there?

The Rogue Prince
This is the guy Aramaki was inspired, he hid his swordsmanship skills until the appropriate time came

He is played by Yoshio Harada by the way, the role model for Aramaki

Kizaru and Fujitora's role models appear in the scene as well
I do not care whether he is or he isnt.

I just find it interesting that you accidentally thought Fujitora was Ryokugyu to push the agenda that he was a swordsman.

Cuz when its about Fujitora, the Chadmiral fandom spent years coping about how he's a "Katana User" and not a Blind swordsman 😭

Notice how he's dropping and grabbing swords left and right. I don't know why sword guys are so against GB having a black blade at all. He could've easily killed a guy and yonked it from him lol

I will never forgive Oda

An Ex Police Officer and a former Bodyguard/War Criminal.

Aramaki and Fujitora both have really interesting backstories, and the best part, is that Oda didn't reveal everything.

Which means Oda can still show us their full backstories in the main story.
I expect short flashbacks. Maybe a few pages at most
