Eh, there's many dead characters without proper backstories
I wouldn't latch on to the slim chance of a rocky port flashback happening just so we can maybe get a little more Law wank
If I wanna see Law wank I'll just wait for whatever Oda has planned for him, if all goes well he'll be the newgen Whitebeard anyway

Kinda makes me wonder how he kmew about them, he was only 12 when God Valley happened and Rock pirates got crushed and separated after that, makes you wonder how he tracked down all the bodies? Could Moriah potentially be the Buggy to Shanks, Kaido?

While it is possible, I think it would’ve been mentioned by Kaido and Big Mom, or maybe even in the Oden flashback

I think it’s more likely that he was just a fanboy like Loki, Rocks was a famous pirate after all. When he decided to build a crew of zombies he specifically targeted the corpses of the rock pirates because he saw them as the strongest crew
