News Volume 112 - Discussion Thread (July 4th, 2025)

Oda forgot those nobodies existed, Oden is one of the most relevant characters in the manga, there is only one reason for him not being listed and it's because he isn't a genuine member. I know this shits on your agenda which is why you're so salty about it.
Nah he didn’t. He drew them multiple times in the flashbacks lmao.

He’s a genuine member by odens own volition so if you wanna argue with canon for agenda that’s just on you lmao

How many crayons did you eat today?

Why would Oda list off random nobodies like Donquino but not mention fucking Oden’s role? It’s because Oden was not an official Roger Pirate, just a borrowed WBP who got clumsily shoehorned into Roger’s story
Oden had no role? He was just a member like Sunbell
:seriously:

Is rockstar not a member of the RHP because he’s not a main member either?

He did.

Which is why Akainu/Sengoku know him as Whitebeard's commander and not Roger's crew member, and why Oda's listing of the Roger Pirates main members mysteriously fails to include Oden.

Oden was essentially what Law was to the Straw Hats, someone who was temporarily part of the crew and travelled with them but was never actually considered a serious member.

Sengoku literally mentioned he was a Roger Pirate. Akainu already knew that himself.

Law was never called a member of the SHP like Oden was called a Roger Pirate and a member of his legendary crew.

He just had no role on the ship.

He's just as irrelevant, I don't know why you're trying to gauge how relevant each member outside of the metal trio and Oden are lol.
Oda didn't include Sunbell yet he's still a member, and he also didn't include Oden yet he's still a member.
Bro there’s 30 something members. Oda didn’t want to list off the roles of all 30 (probably because he can’t think of 30 unique roles for a pirate crew). He just listed the main 3 and 10 random names he pulled out of a hat. Sunbell was just unlucky and not one of the 10 randoms Oda picked out of the 30 other members

Right just like Oden was unlucky and not one of the 10 random names Oda pulled from a hat
Both are still members though despite not being named

He didn't say that, Oden was not a genuine member of the Roger Pirates, more of a temporary ally to help Roger get to the One Piece, again, as much as part of the crew as Law was the Straw Hats, the dynamic is the exact same.

Oden is known as Whitebeard's commander, not an actual Roger Pirates member, this has only been reinforced as of late with it being stated that there were three strong fighters on Roger's crew, obviously excluding Oden and now with Oda failing to list him among the main members of the crew.

He did say that? Oden literally calls himself a genuine member of Roger’s crew? So does Luffy. So does Inu and Neko.

Oden is a known and famous member of the Roger pirates.
