How do you reconcile this with the fact Gaban just relayed the counter to Knights and addressed Zoro specifically?

I never said they beat him, just that they can simulate the level of power he used to beat Sommers

CoC Infusion is the difference maker between the strongest in the world and the rest.

Not only is it Armament on steroids, it can be combined with Armament.

Zoro can't use it consciously yet, he likely will learn how in his battle with Killingham.

Sanji will have to either find a different counter (Power of Love?) or somehow awaken CoC and manage to use CoC Infusion to defeat Sommers.

Once Zoro and Sanji defeat the Knights and begin their paths to mastering Haki, they will be in the realm of challenging Admirals.
