Saitama was definitely holding back against Boros, but i don't think he was holding back the way it's mentioned here.

What was implied after the Saitama vs Boros battle is that Saitama didn't use his strongest moves against Boros.

The strongest move he used if i recall correct was called "serious serious", so as far as Saitama is concerned, yes he was holding back since he probably has stronger punches, but comparatively to all other antagonists, he was pushed much more by Boros than anyone else, Orochi included, because he was the first to to survive his normal punches, and requiring a "serious serious" punch to be finished, which is why Saitama said "it is almost like a real fight" even before their all out assault and later said he is the strongest he faced.

Basically, Boros was at a level where Saitama could almost fight for real, something no one else accomplished since a normal punch was enough to one shot them.

Forgive the impending text wall lol.

Well first off, it’s “Serious Series: Serious Punch” and Boros isn’t the only character Saitama has used serious moves on. He used Serious Sidesteps on Sonic and another Serious Punch on Elder Centipede, both of whom are weaker than the 3 fighters we are discussing here.

Reason I bring this up is that Saitama using Serious moves against an opponent doesn’t mean they are necessarily that much stronger than the opponents he doesnt use serious moves on.

Sonic is a legitimate fodder compared to Orochi, Tatsu, and GS, Saitama used a Serious move on him just to troll him.

EC is a Dragon Level but he is weaker than these 3 fighters who are debated to be either Dragon + or God Level (not sure what the distinction is lol). Saitama serious punched him too.

So why did Saitama use a serious punch on Boros? Pretty simply, because he needed to stop Boros’ attack from, supposedly, wiping the surface of the planet.

It’s not like Saitama needed a serious punch for Boros himself, normal punches would’ve eventually wore him down and killed him. Boros is actually not on a level where the serious series is REQUIRED to defeat him, he’s just someone who can regenerate after a normal punch obliterates him.

What this says about Boros is that he’s not as far above these 3 as everyone else thinks he is, as Ryan stated GS did land some clean hits on a Boros Level fighter by himself, and after fighting off the S class heroes.

Not let’s look at Orochi for a second:

Boros, outside of his strongest attack, has nothing this strong.

EFAD2EEF-7C65-42C1-9F4F-0238A0F38678.jpeg

The strength of this attack is unclear since Saitama negs it, but this attack in and of itself likely scales perfectly to everything pre-Meteoric Burst Boros was doing.

Meaning outside of a technique Boros can which drains his own vitality, Orochi is likely about equal to him in fighting ability.

Now, Tatsumaki:

5BDFC005-153A-4A54-840F-665E3147B2EE.jpeg

Again, Boros doesn’t have anything on this level above a life-draining technique.

And none of these attacks I’ve shown have any drawbacks for Orochi or Tatsu, they’re just things they can do freely in fights.

As for GS, I won’t post his feats, just know he’s about on par with Orochi, maybe marginally weaker.

So what have we learned?

Individually, any of these 3 fighters can push non-meteoric Boros to extreme diff. Boros needs to resort to a Kao Ken esque technique to gain the edge over any one of them INDIVIDUALLY. And again, there’s 3 of them and they are triple teaming him.

So like I said, these 3 CAN kill Boros pre Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon (who’s strength is complete and utter hyperbole anyway lol.)

What did I just read? It seems Admiral Lee is always trolling like this in every thread.

Saitama one-shotted Orochi without even using a serious punch. A single normal punch finished Orochi.

The original mangaka One said Boros vs. Prime Garou would be a close fight.

And Prime Garou >>>>>>>>> Orochi, that's not even debatable.

Boros is the only one who could force Saitama to say this; (except for Prime Garou).

Boros one-shots Orochi, Golden Sperm and overpowers Tatsumaki with ease.

First of all there should be a spoiler tag big as a house, to answer (like almost everybody did) you need to have read the original manga.

On topic: Tatsu and Golden sperm are really strong, Orochi didn't seem nothing special (at least not as these 2) yet to beat Boros Saitama needed a serious punch and no Tatsu or GS can produce something like that, not even close. Not to mention that Boros managed to survive it (to die a bit later) getting a prise from Saitama.

But maybe they can get round 1 aka produce the power of a normal punch.

Trio gets molested. Golden Sperm is fodder to monster Garou (Boros level), individually these guys are low/mid diff material, their best strategy is holding him still with gravity while GS and Orochi unleash their most powerful attacks, which aren't anywhere near strong to put him down or bypass regen. Then Boros blasts them into shit.

The Trio got this mid-high diff LOL. Orochi alone pushes Boros to high diff. Tat and Sperm is definitely Dragon level+ so yeah:kayneshrug:The only problem is Boros's speed but they got this nonetheless:endthis:

I mean when it comes to DC then Boros got this but Tat can also pull off planetary busting level if she wanted to:kayneshrug:Orochi can also spam beams that might destroy the city XD:milaugh:
Planetary ? She’s like island level high balled.

Boros ~ awakened Garou

Garou molested Golden Sperm in a few seconds. Tats and Orochi are comparable to GS. And Boros has advantages Garou doesn’t like energy projection and higher dc in general. He really beats the shit out of these guys.

Heh. Are you still believing that Boros is heavily overrated?

He is, and he loses this matchup.

I don’t actually lmfao. Besides comparable energy blasts in his released form Orochi has nothing on Boros, he and AG are in whole different tiers from these 3. It’s like prime Whitebeard vs 3 Crackers.
Boros doesn’t really have anything on Orochi aside from his 1 alleged planetary move and maybe meteoric burst which takes a humongous toll on his wellbeing anyway..

People don’t understand that Saitama vs Boros only lasted as long as it did because Saitama felt sympathetic for Boros and wanted to let him achieve his goal of having a close fight. Saitama did not feel the same way about Orochi

Are you trying to say that Boros and Orochi are close in power? Because that's deffo a no. Even disregarding all the feats and all, Boros gets compared to awakened Garou, with the victor between them being uncertain, according to One
whilst Orochi is compared to Golden Sperm
who was in return fodderized by Garou, someone to whom Boros is at least comparable.

Feats are in no way helping that as well. From the get go it was clear that Boros is someone much much different that anyone Saitama has ever met, and even now, besides Garou.
At the start of the fight we see Boros and Saitama fighting on equal terms, with Boros straight up overpowering Saitama at times

Boros even confirms they are fighting on pair
Then later Boros manages to blitz Saitama

and flings him to outer space
he tanks Saitama's consecutive normal punches
and even forces Saitama to use a finisher against him, a killer series move
while Orochi was ended by one normal punch from Saitama

that made him feel terror
At the start of the battle Saitama tells him he's not at all excited and that he expects nothing from Orochi and that he's gonna end up being one punched anyway, which is exactly what happens
while he deemed Boros strong on different occasions
Orochi seems more of an opponent for Tatsumaki. Him being compared with GS and ONE stating that Tatsu would be able to beat GS at full power
and GS is someone comparable to Orochi, whom someone to whom Boros is at least comparable fodderized.

Basically this + Full power Boros beats everyone on the earth.
My only exceptions would be Prime abandonment Bang, Full power Tatsumaki, and Blast atm.

This is factually untrue. Orochi is still alive and kicking after two punches from Saitama currently.

Orochi is different than someone like Boros who regenerates, or Rover who is heavily durable..he survives by changing forms befitting his more monstrous being, and thus he is still capable of withstanding multiple blows from Saitama, just in a different way by changing forms. Even in his changed form, he is still capable of this:

Even before merging with Psykos. His transformed “Orochi Heart” form almost engulfed the entire Monster Association before Saitama actually punched a portion of him and caused him to stop expanding. A punch that Orochi expresses pain at, but it essentially didn’t slow him down at all.

So Orochi is currently at 2 punches from Saitama and is still up and fighting.
