Basically I think he was a significant rival of Roger’s. He wasn’t a yonko, but has the will of D and a legendary DF. Much like Law.
This is why despite not being part of the 3 great powers, he held pirate island and was so strong that Teach needed to join forces with Law and Koby to defeat him.
Teach’s old gen parallel is WB for obvious reasons.
Kid’s parallel is Shiki. Their powers are similar and both have a long history of defeats involving getting captured. They’re also both amputees.
Law’s parallel is Wang Zhi.
I think whatever his DF was, it was very hax, like the ope ope no mi and it has a good chance of being Teach’s 3rd fruit. I think we will see this fruit when he fights Shanks, who will recognize it as belonging to WZ.
