From udon training where he learned how to resist seastone better and learned advanced coa, he even got more muscular form all the work he did there that trained all his stats, to roof battle where kaidou teached him advanced coc. Wano is turning into one big training arc for luffy, now he also gets to train his VOAT rofl by speaking it with fellow voat user momo.


coming to wano was like luffy enlist in the army camp for the summer, with Sergent kaidou train him to turn him into a man.

Sorry but no.
First of all, wash your hands before typing about DBZ. It is literally the only shonen without plot armor at all. All we had is Goku training all the time not only when he gets defeated, he entering in battles with already learned techniques and already statement of Super Sayajin that was the main reason Freeza have killed the Sayajins in first place. Also he is taking beatings after beatings and needing help from others to beat most of villains.

Most of shounens have a background when character comes with a new power up. One piece had that too until chapter 1010. Adv CoC was never foreshadowed. Oda made we believe that people clashing without touching was adv armament because that is literally what Luffy was trying to learn and what we keep reading from his training at Udon (not touching... not touching...) and the images (Rayleigh, Sentomaru, Boa sister not touching opponents).

That is why people complain about One Piece current state.

Typically, they get one ability for each villain, but not a buffet of abilities that seems irrelevant to the character.

Pre timeskip, Luffy's power up was to wisely utilize his devil fruit.

Post timeskip, he changed himself from a rubber man to a man with:
- future sight
- telepathy
- aCoC, aCOA

Well, yeah I can agree to that. Not saying it isn't just saying every arc serves this way.

Looking at it, this arc is the last before the final saga, so Oda pushing these power ups is probably for that. Too bad hes rushing it though
