Zoro was third most important character of wano.
No character will become MC of show just because it's their arc.

Zoro fans just expected too much.This is the same amount of focus Usopp will get in Elbaf. Just don't expect him to kill Akainu just because Akainu is villain of Elbaf.

Gone are the days of SHs having an arc for themselves, If It happens It Will be like WCI where one of them gets a Focus while it's still luffy centered.

In a way Wano was Zoro's arc and Elbaf will probably focus a lot on Ussop. Just don't keep your expectations too high and understand that Ussop will never be considered a strong crew member.

In Wano Zoro was still the strawhat with the most focus after Luffy though. And he did get some great stuff, Zoro on the rooftop and Zoro vs King are some of my favorite moments for him. I especially like the part where Zoro puts his life on the line for his dream and is able to tame Enma.

"If I have to keep exuding it at this level, it'll kill me. But no, that's perfect".
Top Zoro moment right there.
And it comes after a scene of Zoro's introspection on all his swords, which comes after a bunch of scene of Zoro being invested in Wano and wanting to help its people (scenes which only Luffy and Zoro got).
So yeah, I would argue Wano was Zoro's arc more so than any other character besides Luffy and maybe Momo.
