Won? Caesar won against Luffy. Caesar HUMILIATED Katakuri.
Caesar humiliated Katakuri.
He humiliated Luffy.
He humiliated Law.
He humiliated Smoker.
And so on...
Caesar came in for the ambush and his hax allowed to "humiliate" Katakuri which is as much relevant as Izo disarming King, hence zero irrelevance.
You have no argument.
Katakuri portrayal as the second strongest... Where is it?
In One Piece where he is the strongest sweet commander while Perospero was paired with Jack.
However, if you want to talk about Fanfiction Piece, I'm not sure about that...
How the hell is he learning haki and advanced versions without getting a beating as he stated Luffy was his hardest fight so far middle fight.
He can have difficult battles whilst winning, you know that, right?
Many things were fake about Katakuri but his undefeated record wasn't. Otherwise, Oven wouldn't freak out that much about Katakuri being defeated. Look at his flashback and you can see that he was already a monster as a kid:
Katakuri later on made the image as the invincible one since he wanted to protect his siblings but he obviously had to get stronger to protect them as well.
Also, this is wrong. Katakuri said it's been a while since somebody managed to hit Katakuri, implying that there were powerful foes opposing his powers. The New World is full of skilled pirates.
Furthermore, Katakuri being Nr.2 is being set in canon:
And in the manga, Daifuku also confirmed that Katakuri is the strongest in the crew. Perospero is nowhere comparable; in fact, his candy wall was easily burned by Luffy whilst Katakuri easily clashed with Red Hawk at the following NEXT PANELS, although mochi is FLAMMABLE! Oda already set a huge difference between those two.
So in conclusion, you've been debunked. This thread is just one of many where people come up with pathetic mental gymnastics to downplay Katakuri, who was Luffy's extreme diff opponent before Kaido btw, as hard as possible. It sure was a nice try, just like your attempt to downplay Doflamingo in the other thread. But at least use the canon as references for your argument... Ndule is gone so there is no excuse for these ridiculous threads.
The Leader of the Mochi merchants abandoned his brothers and sisters.
Too bad many of us didn't even agree with Ndule as Katakuri being an "inbetweener", low top tier, whatsoever. There might be a loud minority but the majority place him rightfully as a powerful right hand man, just like Marco and King.
