General & Others Warlords and Admirals are easily the two best groups in One Piece

By the time we dive into teach yonko system will not matter (arguable if its even does currently) he will eclipsed it, like he did being a Warlord
The only one whose definition tied to being a yonko is Shanks

Both groups seem to be long investments of Oda, even defeated Warlords are being looped back into relevancy, while the Admirals are of the few character to have a deep complexity, Oda constantly flirts with the meaning of justice through the Admirals.

Warlords are okay, Crocodile and Doflamingo actually played well.
Same for Kuma.
Admirals are unique, the best group, best well writen characters who carries One Piece.

Yonkou are not bad either, at least im sure Shanks and Teach getting great stories.
Also yes Big mom threatment was poor, but hell her performance pre wedding cake was great and her flashback was insane good.

Kaido had power but lacks in character, pretty boring if you ask me.
For fight, he is great, but Oda failed to give him a proper character flaw/background build up.

Admirals have both, power and great background story.
Alone the fact that Oda plans to make them the final villians before Imu, tells you a lot about them

The Yonkos had much more potential, if we had seen more of their interactions and dynamics between themselves and with the Marines and Warlord, and if Big Mom and Kaido hadn't been wasted so badly in their respective ways.

Idk about the Warlords as a group being well written. Individually sure, most of them are good characters, but they don’t really have any group dynamic

And their interactions are cruelly lacking and underdevelopped and underused. Though the same can be said for any group not named Straw Hats.

That is the case.
I remember how the entire fanbase been hyped during Big Mom flashback, how everyone loved that flashback.
That was the moment where I thought: WoW what a character.
But after that Oda destroyed her potential, she had a good run to be the best writen women character in this manga as villian.
But he failed hard.

Kinda waste of chancen, given how much potential Kaido and Linlin had.

Because it's out of no where and Oda lambasting pirates for doing... Much, much less than What linlin herself has done. That woman kills her own children and has entire islands wiped out for petty reasons. But we're supposed to believe she's got this soft side for little children and will actively sabotage her own side because... Pirates are controlling their own territory?
