Why do I get the feeling that this whole thing with fishmen that Arlong is talking about is parallel to the Ancient Kingdom? :sus:

Right about what, that Fishmen were forced by humans to the sea floor (true) or that the Fishmen have a holy duty to kill every human they meet, even at the cost of their own lives (false)?

I think it’s probably exactly what happened during the Void Century, the Fishmen were forced to live on the sea floor by the new World Gov.
