Questions & Mysteries Was Big Mom originally supposed to go down in WCI?

#1
I made this argument in WCI: Luffy had to be considered an Emperor before fighting Kaido for Kaido to take him seriously. And voilá, Oda made him a "5th Emperor". But he didn't really defeat Big Mom, and even in that hypothetical, he does not win 1 v. 1. It's Raid Boss like Dressrosa and Current Wano.

With the latest SBS reveal, that the "Joker" was supposed to be the "strong ally" by Kaido's side, does that mean that Luffy's BM beef originally would have ended early?

Even at the end of Dressrosa, we had Kaido talking in "we" the whole time, as in Kaido and Joker together planned to start the greatest War.

Remember, we are not dealing with BM's crew so far. The Straw Hats already "dealt" with them. It's just BM herself.

This clearly means, Oda never planned to FULLY attack 2 Yonko crews head on. 2 Yonko crews are too devastating for even the WG. Just 1 Yonko crew + 1 Yonko as a "strong ally". So in a change of plans, he "dealt" with her crew in WCI, and made her the "strong ally".

Does this mean the Yonko were originally going to go down 1 by 1 sequentially in Big Mom -> Kaido -> Shanks -> Blackbeard order? Maybe Shanks was the first Yonko Luffy 1 v. 1'ed?

Just to add this: Obviously Kaido + Big Mom + Doflamingo is too much, so Big Mom is not involved in this scenario.

Heck, I'd argue just Kaido + Big Mom are too much too handle as is.

Dont bring Linlij to Wano
Keep Katakuri as Main fight but luffy doesn't get the pseudo W either after the talk.

Make him have warmups vs Jack in Wano to showcase Ryuou
Then have him fight Kaido for 3 rounds with help or not.

Big Mom had to be brought to Wano, differently the fight would have not lasted much. I mean Kaido is pretty powerful but there's a reason she is there assisting him.

Oda would have forced to make the novas much weaker if he did, not very good as choice to be honest.

Nope.

If Oda wanted BM to go down first he would have made Bigmom the Yonko that Law was targetting in the first place.

He always had in mind for Kaido and BM to fall in the same arc.

Fishmand Island teases Bigmom as the first Yonko to go down

Then PH teases Kaido

Dressrosa/Zou teases both

A shortcut connecting FMI arc to Zou arc immediately without splitting the Strawhats would have handled the post timeskip much better. Dressrosa saga was an unnecessary carbon copy of Alabasta.

Wano arc is massive. Joker could have been the tertiary antagonist of Wano after Kaido and Meme which goes in line with how Oda portrayed him 10 years ago, makes one curious why Oda jumped off the Doflamingo wank train at some point. It could have been a great stepping stone for Law to duke it out with Doflamingo in Ringo. Avenging Corazon with Oden, Yasu and Pedro in same arc would've made the alliance's win even much more impactful.
