Joyboy is the only TIER in the entire manga above Kaidou, as Kaidou himself deduced that Joyboy would be the one to defeat him. Meanwhile, King, who was a fan of Joyboy and knew his stories, still doubted whether he could do it, further reinforcing Kaidou as the supreme being of that era.

Neither Roger, nor Wb, nor Garp, Kaidou told Joyboy who is above them all.
Kaidou vs Joyboy prime may indeed be the most extreme fight this manga can provide, however an awakened kaidou surpasses joyboy.

I'd feel bad if he has a crew tbh, none were mention, only Joyboy is remembered and gets all the credit.

In comparison, Roger Pirates were pretty much mentioned a lot of times, and not just Roger.
