How is this even a question? Luffy is an emperor ever since the end of the WCI when people started viewing him as one and the "do not engage" rule enforced by the WG only solidified that position. Opinion of one butthurt loser is irrelevant. Just like Moriah might have not considered Kaido a Yonko because of his personal feelings and envy and because he got his ass kicked by him, that doesn't change the fact that the rest of the world + the highest authority in the WG considers him one, and that he is just a pathetic loser.

People think non-emperor level kind can use Kaidou as a jump rope. Or drag his bigass dragon form from the live floor to the rooftop. Or has three pone glyphs.

Lucci was coping and in a very hard way lol.
What lucci was having was that he couldn't believe that Luffy grow that much in just two years.
When they fought lucci was superior and only lost due to luffy's heart. Now the outcome was more than obvious and Luffy had a lot more power inside him.
He just can't accept that the difference is that big that Luffy is actually one of the yonko now.
Cool moment and understandable

You can’t blame him, he is always praised to be the prodigy and for luffy to surpass him, it would affect his pride

No, not at all.
Lucci's reaction was quite realistic.
Imagine knowing a guy that in your mind, you beat him 8 times out of 10 and then two years pass and you cant take a W against him even if a genie give you a free wish.

He was the weakest until Teach became a Yonko. And now Buggy. So he is the 2nd strongest.

People who think Shanks > Luffy are dumb. Luffy beated Kaido. Shanks was afraid of pursuing One Piece when Kaido and Big Mom were Yonkos.
