When he fought Mr.1 he knew where the rocks would be falling so he didn’t got flattened by them. He also knew where his swords were under the rocks. And zoro was able to cut metal, the only way to do so is bare minimum CoA.

He used some sort of combination of both. CoO obviosuly does not make you have a sharper blade but it does make you feel things around you. And CoA sharpens your blade basically, but it does not make feel you things around you.

But that power does not exist anymore since they are separate things now, it was retconned (to everyone's surprise!).

Luffy didn't unlock it. He already had CoC, he just figured out it could be used in such a way. Zoro is the one who didn't have CoC, and had to unlock it.

Come quote me when Zoro can knock out at least 50,000 people with his CoC, and by that point Luffy will be capable of knocking out hundreds of thousands.

Zoro couldn't even KO feel fodders for good with his CoC
