I am not worried about Shiryu's power level at all considering that he has to outdo the toughest being the world and that he will likely have invincible state like Zoro's last 2 major opponents had as well. Zoro is always stronger but due to invincible states he cannot win instantly. Narratively he can even be Zoro's last opponent and imagine what it takes to outdo a user of a black blade...

I like the idea of Orochi blade you have given hope it happens, but the rest I can’t see any of it being true cuz the moment Oda gave Shiryu the invisibility DF it’s a clear indication it’s for the purpose of trickiness and such power are given duo to the lack of something aka power in this regard which is not so surprisingly a common theme among 3 YC1

Your concern about Shiryu's power would be legit if a thung like CoO didnt exist which renders invisibility useless.
I can guarantee you now that Oda wont spend that fight drawing Zoro vs empty panels. If Shiryu's fight us last or second last, testament of his power is undeniable. Especially if he wields a supreme grade sword which he most likely does.

The YC1s that lack power are Burgess, Marco and Katakuri. YC2s like Mihawk, Oden and Shiryu are monsters of their own tier. King wasnt lacking power either.

I suspect and it’s the most likely scenario imo that Shiryu’s fight will be behind the WG fight and who ever his opponent then as well as Mihawk so third on the final opponents list.

Yeah, I always think about that fruit. It would have been a great fit for either Usopp or Van Auger providing more speed and size to attacks making them devastating

Vander's Target fruit should have been Van Augur's fruit instead of Warp.

Target is literally perfect for a sniper.

I only saw a few episodes of YYH so I dunno much about it.

But that Sniper character seems cool.

Kid has some of the best DF mastery in One Piece.

Punk Rotten, one of his weakest forms, was already able to make Kaido scream in pain. Which scales that form alone to YC3 level.

On top of that he has awakening, which he mastered against BM, and his Rail Gun, which has the ability to bust entire fleets.

Kid’s DF mastery is top tier. Better than Doffy imo. He only jobs because he doesn’t have advanced haki.

I have scaled Punk Rotten to Gear3+ but as a mode like Gear 4.

Even though Punk Rotten has Gear 3 AP, he is much better than Luffy with Gear 3. Since it can fly, it also serves as protection, has great AP and also can use his hands for other things and not just punches. Now, IMO this scales Kidd to Yc1 as Katakuri didnt even show attacks greater than Gear 3 IMO. Just as Marco, well they did but they cant casually do Gear 3 attacks as Punk Rotten.


But no, his DF mastery aint better than Doffy.

Buki buki no mi, because it was given to a character that barely fought and wasnt really strong, even though its such a great fruit

Jiki Jiki no mi, because even though I dont hate Kid and I like the symbolism of the scrap metal, I cant brush off the fact that in he hands of someone like Franky it would be godly

Buku buku no mi. Really cool power, will never be relevant because it was given to an irrelevant character

You scale it to Gear 4th when we also saw how Kaido took Gear 4 at act1.

Besides, it was a slam.... Kaido fell from a sky island and only had a headache... not even comparable. Kaido does take damage from Gear 3 or Kidd, but it is minimal. I still dont see nothing from Kidd that has done as much as Gear 4.
