Many won't like the idea but...

12 Supreme Grade Already Existed like
But I'll present a new Idea.
Grade of the Weapon is dependent upon the user.
- Many raised the questions about if luffy took on Nidai kitetsu , why wasn'the even half strong with it as pre time skip zoro. First and foremost is because he isn't a swordsman. But luffy were to hold it. The rank would drastically drop from 21 great grade weapon to maybe 50 skillfull or even 80 grade weapon. And may later on increase the rank as luffy swordsmanship grows.
- People commented on Shusui being useless as a black blade to zori and discarded Shusui being A black blade and deemed black blades useless.
But if we follow my theory , Shusui rank dropped drastically in zori hands and worked like it should have as his power level calls it.
- Nidai is 21 great Grade blade , but we know the swordsmith behind it has been dead long ago and we have no idea who weilded it.
- if katakuri was to Take on murakumogiri , the rank would drop drastically again. It won't remain a Supreme grade Weapon.
- Read somewhere in Blackbeard Discussion , It's not the fruit which is Mid. It's the user. BB can't use Gura as the same Degree as WB. He will Adapt eventually.
- only a graded Sword like Sandai kitetsu is still scratchless to this day thanks to zoro. Maybe the previous owner of Sandai Kitetsu was a fodder Swordsman and that's why it ranked low. In hands of zori , who is helping sandai reach it's maximum potential.
- Wado Ichimonji. We have no idea of when it was created. We only know it is passed down to kuina and then Zori. Maybe previous owner threw it among the 21 Great grade weapons. But it's again powerless in hands of zori.
- Kaidou Kanabo was said to be passed down as a graded weapon if kaidou were to pass it down to someone. And again the rank would drop as Kaidou isn't the one holding it.
- The current rankings are of past. We thought again and again why Nobody putting their hands on roger weapon or Whitebeard weapon but in reality , Sword would do them no good at all. It won't be as strong as they used to be in Whitebeard or Roger hands.
- Cursed Blades was explained by Kozaboru as , there are no cursed weapons , just weak swordsman. Some swords only accept strong users. Or they might end up killing them.
- Oden was succesful in pushing Enma and Ame-No-Habakiri to 21 Great blade pre-Adcoc power up.
And maybe even reached the level of supreme grade later on while fighting Kaidou. But he lost the fight.
- If he were to win the fight , The sword would definately be recognised as Supreme Grade Weapons.
- Focus on winning. And then read what Fox had to say about Black blade.
Through Ryuma "History" of battles , it's ranked or forged among the Black Blade category.
- Oden father specifically said oden wasn't able to raise it's Rank to supreme grade and died before that.
And If you notice carefully , All the Swordsman Wilding Supreme grade are top tier characters and have many victories under their belt with their weapon.
- Ame-No-Habakiri was Considered 21 Great grade blade in hands of Oden. In hands of Momonusuke who isn't as strong as Oden , the blade rank should drop but we never get a regular update on Swords ranklist.
- All zori Current Swords are between the Rank of 12 supreme grade and 21 great grade swords. Give it to someone else and the sword grade would decrease again.
- Kuina was holding the Wado ichimonji at such young age. Is she as strong as 21 great grade wielders? Answer is no.
- Or even if the Sword retains the grade , it will mostly retain the toughness of the grade not it's real abilities which unlocked by the real User who pushed it to that level.
- From above all I can say with confidence. Same is the case with Law Kikoku. We know it's a cursed blade and is not graded. But like Kaidou if Law were to leave the weapon behind it will be considered "Supreme Grade" , ofc I'm talking about EoS law.
- From the above logic , A sword is Upgraded two times.
- Turning a Blade into a Black blade and Increasing it's rank is two different things.
- Black blade are in a echoleon of it's own.
- Ryuma was only able to push Shusui to 21 Great Grade weapon and then it turned black. Before reaching 12 Supreme grade.
- There's a high chance one or two Zoro sword might turn Black from 21 Great grade only while Enma and Sandai Pushes to Supreme Grade Blades.
- Or maybe Sandai Become Black and Wado become black blade just like that and only enma rank increases to Supreme Grade and then Turn black.
- No ever gave us info on Wado or Shusui even turning Black. Only Enma was Hinted to become a Black blade and maybe a supreme grade at the same time.

- It's the user who pushes the sword to a limit.
- Ace isn't a supreme grade blade because it was built That way , rather. It's supreme grade blade because Roger wields it.
- Yoru isn't a supreme grade because it was created as a supreme grade blade or was already a black blade before mihawk took it. It's called the strongest Weapon because Mihawk wields it.
- Murakumogiri is a supreme grade weapon because Whitebeard the Strongest man Wields it.
- Shodai Kitetsu is a supreme grade weapon because a Ultimate power like Nasujuro wields it.
- Yakuza line is a supreme grade weapon because Fujitora wields it , who is an admiral and are called strongest force of WG.
