I could see this happening with zoro getting lost for example, it would be a similar situation than in the time skip. His weakness was even acknowledged by Luffy, so I believe elbaf is going to be a training arc.

I hope so. If not that, maybe training with Dorry and Broggy. Just some sort of opportunity for Usopp to focus on improving or being forced to give it his all and then some and maybe that can spark some growth. Unlocking armament haki could be cool, but even just honing his observation haki would be nice.
