Kid had a great moment this chapter. Took hits from Big Mom to the head (considering plenty believed he was only durable with his mecha, that's pretty impressive) and helped in disposing of her. I expect more good feats from the man going forward. He has yet to utilize that giant sword on Onigashima and his whole thing is magnetism and collecting weapons to use. All of the Supernova are strong, Oda probably didn't feel the need to show Kid so far cause he wasn't worried about him being overshadowed by Killer or anything like that cause he already had planned what he'd do with the guy.

It's time for the SNs to shine against Kaidou. In case you didn't notice, most of the damage that the SNs took on screen have been from Big Mom so far. Now she's out of the equation, nothing is stopping the SNs from flexing on Kaidou's hybrid.

Honestly though, Kidd's alright.
Not great, but alright.
So far, I liked Kidd's mecha giant robot thing he's been using against Kaido, and managed to lift Big Mom up the air and shit using his powers... but let's face it, throughout the Wano arc, Oda's been putting a lotta emphasis on Kidd as this possible contender to Luffy ever since Udon happened.
But so far, he's been outclassed at every respect by Luffy to such an extent that he keeps aweing at the guy and not showing much to reach that standard. G4, future sight, ryou.. you name it, Luffy's got it all and Kidd got fucked over, so what could Kidd possibly get in this fight against Kaido now, to level with Luffy?
I'm thinking of awakening. If Kidd could just manage to obtain DF awakening in the midst of the fight against Kaido, this gives him something to play with on Luffy's level that Luffy doesn't have - even if it's just that - and probably even make the fight against Kaido more interesting.

But it'd be cool if Kidd managed to obtain awakening mid fight.
