There are usually parks or even woods near cities. Even for someone in a megacity it should be possible to exercise at least outside.
Moving out of a city could also be considered good advice for general health.
go one day a week without eating, if it horrible go another day until the hunger goes away. You'll become healthy and if you were ever that poor you'll never forget how to be tough, if not it will toughen you up.
Reading this thread reminded me about drinking water since I barely drink lol. One of my bad habits alongside the "Peace of Mind" mentioned by ma boy Roger so from personal experience keep an eye on both of those + the lack of exercise.
