Speculations What can we expect from the Special Science Group?

2) I expect Clonetroopers.
We know that the Germa kingdom and the World Government have a connection. With Vergo being the base for the Germa's clones. and we know that two years ago Vegapunk was already working with advanced laser technology with the Pacifistas lasers. With the go ahead from the Reverie the SSG could advance enough to not only create their own (Superior) Clones than the Germas' but also arm them with Laser technology.

2) More Zoan type Weapons.
Weapons infused with Zoan type Devil Fruits have been in the story since Mr.4 in Alabasta. Seeing what weapons could be combined with what animal to make the best use of the weapon and the abilities of the animal (in both a Gag and Non-Gag Way).

3) Logia and Para type Weapons.
A natural evolution to Zoan type weapons, Weapons infused (And possibly mass produced) with Para and Logia type devil fruits. Kizaru's devil fruit was the model for the laser technology already so we could see other powers used as well. Seeing different people using weapons with Smoker's or other Marines devil fruits.

4) Blimps.
This would be near the end of the series but Aircrafts in the One Piece world would be cool. So much technology is based off the seas, and while even island to island the levels of tech can Vary even with high tech islands air travel in nowhere to be seen.
So blimps from the SSG.

High-class armor material. Basically like PX Kuma's with let's say battleship type of armor. New DF firepower.

Higher intelligence I guess? Tactics implemented?

What would be fucked up is if Vegapunk found out how to copy/recreate CoA.

Well the SSG are an actual group of seemingly powerful scientists. Why?

- They are meant to replace the Shichibukai, implying they are a group people.

- Queen/Judge/Caesar are heavily associated with Vegapunk, and Sentoumaru being one of his bodyguards, implying that Vegapunk surrounds himself with powerful people.


I think what a lot of people are confusing are the Marine Science Division as a whole (who likely with Vegapunk produce the Pacifista, Kairoseki tech, anti-devil fruit bullets, devil fruit installation into inanimate objects etc.) and potentially the Special Science Group being a group of extremely powerful scientists with their own unique scientific skills and traits, as well as being the top of the Marine Science Division.

We have yet to see either really, which is why I hope we have a dedicated arc post Wano to them and Kuma/Bonney, etc.

Blimps are not going to feature I'm afraid. We know how Oda sama treats flying things. They are simply too exposed in the One Piece world and Marco at least possesses a regen zoan, but blimps would be totally exposed. That actually would explain why it is feasible with him.
