Questions & Mysteries What do you think happened to Sabo ?

#4
No, don't think so...
I think it's Luffy who will face Ace 2.0 soon
Not Sabo
Reason: because it was Luffy who's vivre card was distributed
Sabo might just be assumed dead as fake news imo, and his return will be to save Luffy from execution
This would be better because we would have an arc where Luffy is not the protagonist. The other straw hats would have the opportunity to show more. It would be a great change and something new

Oh the arc will be centered as Luffy the protagonist,
It's just will be an arc to save Luffy not the other way around, where Luffy saves the day
All the allies Luffy has made through his journey MIGHT show up for help as a big pay off...
But as usual, Luffy will be the center of attention as protagonist, not the others... even when imprisoned

To be honest‚ an arc with no Luffy would be boring. Luffy is a charismatic main character plus One piece has one of the best world building of any manga‚ so it is not like Luffy is taking the spotlight from other characters like Goku and Vegeta. Plus we got udon already

DbZ is in this case really the worst... this is a matter of taste but personally I don’t think that Luffy is a good character in general. I would love to have an arc where he does not much, it would be something different.

I think Sabo was caught and is set up for execution which is probably what the newspaper said that all the characters reacted to.
Also Blackbeard mentioned that he wants to get a certain very powerful devil fruit for himself and he explicitly mentioned that he doesn't want the marines to get it after reading the same newspaper implying that it's about the fire fruit so i guess he will go to impel down to get now Sabo's fire fruit which he already wanted at dressrosa.
The reason why it won't be a Ace 2.0 scenario i think is because there is no reason to make a public execution for Sabo the same way it was made for Ace. Sabo is a rev commander which makes him a threat to WG but his bloodline is unknown to the world and therefore his death not of much more importance to the WG than any other pirate/revolutionary so the marines wouldn't gain anything from executing Sabo publicly.
The marines probably just plan on executing him at some time and then writing in the newspaper that they executed the commander of the rev army.
It's also possible that Fuji and Ryu made some sort of deal or even alliance with Sabo/the rev commanders, since there is a theory that they are going to betray Akainu and the WG, so everything happening from now on regarding the rev commanders and especially sabo could be set up and part of a greater plan.

It was Goku and Vegeta show‚ but now apparently even Vegeta is turning to a fodder.
It was Goku and Burma adventure at first. Then Goku, Krilin, Yamcha rivalry, followed by Goku, Muten Roshi, and Tien rivalry, Goku-Picollo, Goku- Vegeta, and so on.

Tbh, DB and DBZ are pretty good in giving side character screentime, like when Goku was locked in healing water while Krilin, Vegeta, Gohan and Picollo get most of the screen time in Freeza Saga. Or when Tien could hold Cell for a while.

But in DB Super, it is only Goku Show (with Vegeta sometimes step in). And I don't see this will be different soon considering we get a potential antagonist that tied to Goku's father.
:gonope:

Anw, for Sabo, I think there are only 2 possibilities.
Either he was captured and sentenced to death. Or there was a huge destruction that happened and Sabo was supposed to be dead in that destruction.

Lets remember that, whatever news Morgans pubblished, the government didnt want him to pubblish it,because they sent a spy to threaten him. So i dont know, maybe the news said he is dead, altough he of course isnt really dead...but why would the World Government would hide that?
We don't know which news they wanted to hide
There were 4 news
An assasination attempt
Someone dying
Warlord abolishement
And then something Wapol told them
Government wanted to hide one of the first 2 but we don't know which of them concerned Sabo or it Sabo's thing could have been the last one that we don't know anything about yet

Luffy is not fighting akainu it’s gonna be Sabo and if luffy does it will be solo. Your basically saying akainu is equal to two yonko
There's no sensible reason why Oda should deprive the MC of the opportunity to avenge his brother. It's very very likely.

After all, there's for example no issue with Akainu > Kaido as long as his fake WSC hype will be ultimately wholly spoilt.
