I think it's too late now for a Sanji plotline completely separated from the war that just started.
Probably he is just going to show up near the stage in a couple of chapters and whatever he did while he wasn't on panel is going to be important at some point but showed only in a short flashback (he heard Drake's conversation with a marine, he found the RPG, he heard something about the secret port, he was talking with Law and Drake and so on)

That's true, also a lot of time has past in regards to Sanji at onigashima so I can def see a short mini flashback for him as well

When you sacrifice a character for a gag, You fucked up. A gag is suppose to be funny, Not repetitive nor overused. It's not a defining feature but another addon to a character or so. Not driven by it.

I think Sanji needs to sacrifice his ideal not to kick woman for the sake of saving his friends.

I think Oda would make Sanji does that at one point in the series to show Sanji's growth.

WCI is supposed to be the moment that Sanji has character development but imo there's no difference between pre WCI Sanji with post WCI Sanji.

In Wano he was still looking for prostitute.

I hope Oda fixes this in future chapter and gives him deserved character development.

Not gonna lie, I wouldn't mind a rematch since I think that Page is a perfect opponent for Sanji (in term of strength) but to said that Page would push current Sanji past low diff or saying Page will be Sanji's final fight is silly to be honest. Sanji vs Page rematch is mostly to be a warm up fight for Sanji before Queen or King imo

1- Very Soon, his entrance to the battle, he must come in clutch, otherwise he would be among the mix of combatant inside! Oda must be keeping him, Brook and Franky away for something, otherwise, Oda is truly bad writer, specially if all he's doing is still the prostitute thingy lol

I hope it's something that can turn the tide of battle where alliance is losing, but the trio appear after doing something that turns the tide

I could make an exception to the gags if they were similar to pre time skip sanji gags, which I personally thought were entertaining, now the nosebleed stuff is just over the line lol

I wouldn't really consider kicking a woman a character growth but a regression
In fact I think alot of people have a wrong perception of his fight with Kahlifa who he was genuinely barely holding himself from kicking her,

in fact I kinda respect the guy's will in trying to balance holding up to his principles Zeff taught him and trying to protect his friends in the same time
This is what he is and I dont think Oda will ever change that (Nami actually pointed out how she finds this chivalry admirable and stupid in the same time because he is putting his life at risk as well)


And to be honest I don't think he will face this Kahlifa situation again (I hope I'm not wrong lol )

If he kick a woman, i think it will be interesting and disappointed at the same time because he clearly denied zeff lesson.

Kicking a woman? No way he will do that, Sanji has his principles. The only time he came close to breaking his principles was when he was confronting Judge inside Bege’s castle. He was about to punch him but he didn’t in the end. He is extremely loyal to Zeff’s teachings and that will not change.
