Lol that's not true and you know it.

Mihawk is undeniably the most skilled swordsman, but there's no way he could beat the pirate king, and he also canonically did not beat Shanks. Ergo Shanks can hold his ground against the most skilled swordsman with other qualities and without a black blade.
Shanks before he lost his dominant arm could match Mihawk.

Current Shanks is inferior to Mihawk.

Well do you think Mihawk would do that tho? Telling Shanks to turn off his haki? I'm not saying Mihawk doesn't have haki tho, who give you that kind of absurd argument?
You did.

A weaker swordsman than WSS, a stronger haki user than WSS. It's the tldr version.

The burden of proof is on you guys when you claim ha... ha... haki!!!! When it's been explicitly shown to be a part of swordmanship which includes even the fabled adcoc.

The burden of proof is on you guys to show Shanks fighting with anything other than his sword plus haki combo, and how that equals to somehow being stronger than the strongest, Mihawk who does the same thing.

Shanks is a weird one. If the informations from new chapter are real, Mihawk is stronger swordsman. If, swordsmanship is Shanks main way to fight, that puts him under Hawk Eyes. I still think that he might be a DF user.

No i didnt say Mihawk must ask Shanks not to use haki, thats ridiculous.

Haki is not part of swordmanship since it can be used with any kind of limb or weapon. For haki to be part of swordmanship, Shanks must be unable to use haki once he let go of his sword, which doesnt make sense. And if haki is part of swordmanship, any non-swordsman must be unable to use haki, which makes even less sense.

Yea i know Zoro use haki, what does it change? For haki to be part of swordmanship, Kaidou must say that Roger be able to stand at the top since he is the strongest swordsman. Kaidou praising Roger haki instead of him being a swordsman or have swordmanship or sword skills, implies that even Kaidou separate haki from swords.

So why when mihawk explicitly says I will teach you the WAY OF THE SWORD did he only teach zoro haki

There's an issue here though:

Brannew implies that Mihawk's title of the "World's Strongest Swordsman" comes on account of his swordsmanship being even greater than Yonko Shanks.

In order for Zoro to become the WSS, he must defeat Mihawk. And when he defeats Mihawk, they will both coat their attacks with haki. Therefore, when Zoro is the WSS, you would expect a comment saying, "His swordsmanship surpasses even that of Mihawk." However, we know that Zoro only received that status by defeating Mihawk in combat, while using haki as a huge part of his arsenal.
