How different do you think the story could have been if Blackbeard and his crew hadn't been intercepted by Ace at Banaro Island and put their plan of going after Luffy at Water Seven in action ?

What would have been the consequences for Grand Line, the marines, the Whitebeard Pirates and their allies, the warlords, Impel Down and the others ?

How different do you think the story could have been if Blackbeard and his crew hadn't been intercepted by Ace at Banaro Island and put their plan of going after Luffy at Water Seven in action ?

What would have been the consequences for Grand Line, the marines, the Whitebeard Pirates and their allies, the warlords, Impel Down and the others ?

Oda would have found another way to avoid Luffy vs Blackbeard. This clash is supposed to be the grand finale.

But I'm not sure how the events could have rolled exactly.

The Blackbeard pirates go to W7 in time to be intercepted by Garp & Aokiji, who don’t take the pirates seriously. With those hot shots around, the Blackbeard pirates retreat rather than tempt fate. They could follow the SH’s into the Florian Triangle.

As for Ace? He probably tracks them to W7, but misses everyone important.

Yeah, he and his crew would immediately return their focus to Luffy before getting distracted again by someone powerful/straight PIS. Ace would find him eventually, so what actually happened probably would have come to pass later on anyway.

Pre-Shichibukai Teach doesn't have a bounty, he has no reason to worry about Aokiji and Garp. Instead he is helping them by capturing a 300 million bounty criminal.

They would capture Luffy in W7 and Teach would become a Shichibukai.

Then who could save Luffy from execution or Impel Down? Dragon or Ivankov I guess, or Ace somehow.
