What do you think would have happened if Blackbeard and his crew couldn't have stolen a marine ship to Impel Down and gone to Impel Down, due to him being surprised by Akainu before he could do so and forced to stay on Marineford alongside the rest of the warlords for the Battle of Marineford ?

How much would this have changed events on Marineford and at Impel Down ? Would Luffy and the others have been able of escaping ID without Blackbeard barging in ? What would Teach have done and how would he have fared as a warlord during the war, knowing that he would be a priority target for his ex-comrades after his betrayal of them, murder of Thatch and capture of Ace ?

How much would this have changed his plans ? Would he have still gotten an opportunity to steal Whitebeard's df or to go to Impel Down ? Would he have managed to become emperor ?

Also if not Whitebeard's Gura Gura no mi, which df could he have absorbed as his second df as a substitute ?

Didn't the pre-Marineford Warlord meet up/feast/luncheon happen at Meriejois and not Marineford? That great hall where they're all sitting and eating looked similar to the room where we got our first look at Sengoku, Doffy, Kuma and Lafitte

I don't remember, but well the premise remains the same, that someone or something else prevents Blackbeard from moving on with his plan and that he's forced to play the role of warlord anyway.

To speculate on that we need to realise first how did BlackBeard have his foreknowledge. What is the extent of his knowledge and where is he getting it from.

Why? Because based on this he can find alternative paths to reach his goal. So if it weren't for Impel Down then it would be a different route he'd take or something else he'd get involved with.

The others would have escaped a different way because DREAMS and will of the DICKS.

If BB couldn’t go during Marineford, he’d have maintained his role as a warlord until he could.
