Let's say for whatever reason, Zoro somehow woke up next chapter (either by Chopper healing or Mink sper- medicine) and has enough power to deal one more attack, while Luffy is struggling to punch Kaido because of his new giant fire dragon attack getting in the way, so Zoro goes to roof top and uses the same flame cutting technique that he stole from Kinemon which he used to cut Prometheus and King's final attack, to cut Kaido's new blazing giant fire dragon and that helps Luffy land his punch easily.

Luffy wins this clash, ZKK is a Zoro and Wano thing, whatever happens after the fight is between Zoro and the people of Wano, he still has to be acknowledged by them.
