- Keeps the smile factory and stays ruler of Dressrosa without citizens doubting him, while doing business with Kaido
- Has Law perform the immortality surgery on himself, while also getting his hands on the Ope fruit through rebirth (akin to the Mera)
Luffy and the straw hats by some means manage to escape though, so they might be future threats.
How would Doffy have shaped the future? How would he have proceeded?
I think it really depends on what the immortality surgery really means. Different mediums handle immortality differently, sometimes it means “no aging”, other times it means straight up invulnerability, etc.
But I think Doffy would’ve certainly been able to manipulate/blackmail his way to pirate king. Our fandom puts too much emphasis on brute strength because that’s how luffy and the Yonko intend to take the title, but Doffy could most definitely achieve it through other means. Roger ran from Big Mom after all Lol.
Fujitora would lead a personal crusade against Doflamingo and eventually the warlords would still be overthrown, the CD would more than likely have Cp0 assassinate Doflamingo or somebody like Fujitora would personally put him down.
Basically mans wouldve been able to buy himself a few more days-weeks until the Purple Tiger or the CD themselves put him down.
Days - if Fujitora investigates and finds out about the underground stuff.
Weeks - Up until the reverie, where the warlords would be abolished.

I can believe Fujitora to take on Doflamingo but please don't overhype CP0 they are weak. You can't kill character like Doflamingo by some fodder assassination.
If everything goes to Doflamingo's plan, then Luffy and Law's alliance is officially broken. Useless to continue alliance if they can't take down Doflamingo. At first Law wanted to get carried by Luffy and his Tsar Bomba level First Mate, but then he realized he had comitted a mistake.

Why would Fujitora have personal grudge against Doflamingo in particular? If the Shichibukai system was not abolished, he as a marine would've his hands cuffed. And if the Shichibukai system was abolished, Fujitora would neither have intention to go after Doffy in particular, nor would he have the means. Doffy was already confident in taking out Fujitora. Surely not in a 1 on 1, but he has the connections and associations. He has Kaido backing him up, he has the Celestials by their balls. Maybe he could play smart with Sugar to turn him into a toy.
The future events may occur in two different ways imo:
Doffy would have been a primary contender for PK....
I doubt CP0 or WG would be willing to kill him as he is direct supplier of weapons, SMILE to monsters of the world. Killing him would start another great war ( war which may be larger than Marineford )... Defeating Doffy made Kaido and other guys dependent on Doffy's weapons or SMILE angry on Luffy...
Fujitora gambled on Luffy defeating Doffy....He might have taken action against young master had Luffy been defeated.... Fujitora already knew about Doffy's manipulation in dressrosa and he might have defeated doffy and apologized to King Riku as he did actually in the story. Doffy would have been arrested and would have been put into impel down....WG would have been sending assasins to impel down trying to kill him.

-> Maynard had already gone undercover and discovered about the underworld connections. This alone was enough for Fujitora to arrest Doflamingo and be done with him. But he chose not to do it, as he wanted to expose the World Government's flawed Warlord system through having the pirates take him down. Not enough evidence form Maynard? no problem, he'd just spend couple more days doing a more thorough search and then bam that's done with. Fujitora would expose Doflamingo or find a way to expose him. Eventually the past of Dressrosa with King Riku and etc would've probably become known as well... this would simply enrage Fujitora even more and yea.. bad news for Doflamingo.
Maynard can't expose Doffy? No worries, there's another entity to do it for Fujitora..
The Revolutionary Army's Chief of Staff who had come undercover to Dressrosa to attain the Mera mera as well as to fuck up the weapons trade Doflamingo had going on. So instead of having a pacifist Sabo who's guarding Luffy or just chilling and watching over luffy.. you would've had an active Sabo snooping around Dressrosa after stealing/winning the mera mera.. and eventually exposing the underworld trade.. which could've led to a possible Doffy vs Sabo, with Fujitora letting Sabo win to expose the World Government that way. Or using that was a way to attack Doflamingo directly himself.
Either way Doffy would've been exposed. Hence why I emphasized on Fujitora specifically, because he has an issue with pirates who make the people suffer.
-> Only confidence I recall from Doflamingo was based on arrogance because Fujitora could not do anything to him because Doflamingo believed he didn't have the evidence (which he got and/or would've gotten thanks to Maynard). Not really sure what you're referring to with him having other connections or associations that he could've used against Fujitora.

As Fujitora has strong ties with the Fleet Admiral himself, a friend of Chaton, and is a respected Marine, despite his short time there. Then there's also GreenBull who might decide to revolt as well if they try to fuck with Fujitora. So yea.. they'd rather a cap in Doffy's head than kill off a huge power piece like an admiral. As for Kaido or Big Mom.. they ain't doing shit to Fujitora bruh, unless they want the Marine HQ on their asses.

Yea.. you can't have the people who have 6 top tiers + 2 potential semi-top tiers + tons of VAs + CP0 + A commander in chief who himself is a top tier, under them.. by the balls unless you're a godlike figure...which Doffy sadly was not. You're confusing his belief that he had the Celestial Dragons in his palm with the reality of the situation which is the CD were just using him.
Sure he could do that with him and Sugar, unless Fujitora has FS and sees that shit coming or he senses the little girls' intent against him.
Lucci is stated to have gotten a lot powerful over the timeskip. On top of that his status in the CP0 is unknown. He isn't implied to be a top leader from what I see so far.
Doflamingo continues to maintain the peace between the World Government and the Yonko, specifically Kaido. Until someone dethrones him, Blackbeard makes his move or Kaido is ready for war, Doffy remains the middle man and important. After that? He's got to pick a side and hope it's the right one (the W.G.'s side) or he'll be purged by Imu-sama.
