Speculations What if Luffy was defeated on Egghead?

What if Luffy was defeated on Egghead by either Kizaru or one of the gorosei, do you think they would have captured him and brought him to Imu or somewhere else where the world governement would hold him prisoner or maybe do experiments with him? Or would he just be killed?

Saturn did try to kill him at least once, but that may have been out of desperation, when all five gorosei and an admiral are there, maybe they would choose to capture him instead,

Yeah but wouldn't that mean they are risking the fruit evading them again? If they kept him prisoner and maybe made him immortal, if they can do that, they would have a guarantee that the fruit is in their hands,

Well if we imagine the events in a "realistic way" yes,they would have killed him immediately,to resolve this Nika problem. But if we have to imagine the events in a way more connected to the style of the story,i think they would have just captured him,and the other Strawhats with the Grand Fleet and maybe Shanks would have tried to free him. Maybe a Marineford 2.0 could have happened if the World Government would try to make a public execution.
