Powers & Abilities What if no character does something similar to Ashura in the story?

Is this a cop out? There is a chance that Oda wants to make Ashura an exclusively Zoro ability for no other reason than Mihawk has to lose to it.

And for Mihawk to lose to it, he must have no idea what it is.

So this will be a Haki ability only Zoro can do. Ever. Across the entire verse, Joyboy to Ryuma to EoS Luffy, no other Haki user will ever use “Haki constructs” besides Zoro specifically so that Mihawk has no idea what to do about it and loses to it.

Ashura Douji can use ashura mode

I feel like the explanation will be that it’s his own unique way of utilizing his CoC

We’ve yet to see other hakimen/fruitless top tiers truly go all out in their prime. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw crazy stuff like this once Mihawk or Shanks go all out

Especially after Zoro commented on Mihawk’s inhumanity

Zoro's Willpower/Spirit is so Immense, it requires Three Bodies,
Blackbeard's Body is so Unique, it requires Three Spirits,
Do the Math.

It's like imagine Body as a Machine, and Spirit/Willpower as Battery, Everyone got One Machine & One Battery,
However, Zoro have a Big Battery that can Fuel Three Bodies, while Blackbeard got a Big Machine that requires Three Batteries to work,
Asura is born from these Two.

Bro still failing at understanding what Asura is...
Of course nobody else can do anything similar to it.
Because it is the strongest evolution of humanity in the entire show.

You have to understand that when it comes to combat abilities, Zoro rules supreme and Oda gives him only the best of the best.
All the DFs that you see in this show are evolutions of humanity but Zoro's evolution stands above them all.
This is not haki, it is simply commanded by the same thing that haki is commanded by - willpower.

Do not confuse this thing any longer, Asura has nothing to do with Haki.
It is a God manifestation of desire for Power, for a character that represents Power among the 3 triggers of the story.
Asura cannot beat Mihawk, not without haki stronger than Mihawk's haki, which no character has managed to achieve.

Beating Mihawk is, by definition of impossible dreams, something that cannot be achieved.
Asura is just one part of the formula that does the impossible.

Swordsman do shit like that all the time: Vista can create real flower petals out of nowhere, the Wano samurai can create sakura, Brook creates Ice, Kinemon can create fire (Zoro has done this too btw) etc. It's just another form of creating something through haki which we've seen many times, it's unique to Zoro, but not unique in the series.

I really hope Mihawk and Shanks can do stuff like that too

It wouldn't surprise me if we get to see Rayleighs version of Ashura in this very flashback. I don't think every swordsman will get that, perhaps only Ray and Zoro, it just feels like something fitting of The Dark King & The King of Hell.

Difference at the moment being Rayleigh is known as The Dark King to the outside world (perhaps because of Ashura-like ability in God Valley with loads of witnesses) and Zoros King of Hell is just himself saying it (as almost no one witnessed his fights vs Kaku or Kaido).

I guess Oda wants a way to make swordsmen more interesting

it’s just weird that if this is a haki thing, then you’d expect the top haki users of the verse to have something similar

Um, Rayleigh’s contribution to the flashback has ended

Because everyone has its own unique way of implementing it, especially top tiers, while fodder usally use the same thing. On top of it we haven't seen all top tiers' in action, so it's premature to say that they have nothing similar.

You can pretty much expect Garp to have something similar since he's the purest haki user, no weapons no DF. Obviously not in the form of multiple arms or heads, that's Zoro's shtick, but something that Garp can create through haki. For example, it could be argued that Galaxy Impact is something similar, because he literally created an explosion of some sort. Nobody should be able to do this, it was clearly a haki technique.

Garp literally recreated his giant cannonball by using haki. He turned his imagination into reality. Zoro does the same thing in his own way, many characters have done similar things if you pay attention. If you're implying that's some genetic ability aka related to Zoro's lineage and shimotsuky family, then you'd need to wait and see if Oda reveals it. Other then that, it's pretty much the same thing what other characters have been doing with their haki, instead of generic fire or flower petals, Zoro creates multiple arms and swords with his haki, which increases his attack power, plus Kaido called it a haki too. It's pretty much confirmed really, I don't see any mystery here.
