The one piece the greatest mystery of the series. Oda has built it up for decades. What can he write that would top fans’ expectations for what the OP is? Probably nothing.

So what if he just never reveals it? What if Oda leaves it up to the audience to decide what the one piece is?

Luffy would beat Teach and Imu, go to laugh tale, and the manga would just end on Luffy and the SHs doing the “He Laughed” thing. The narrator would confirm that the SHs found the one piece and it was very real. The end.

what if luffy wakes up and has to go get the bus to arrive in time at his high school? it was all just a dream. his grandfather yells at him that if he doesn't make it in time, he will end up like his unemployed father. dragon is spending his time before a computer screen, "exposing the new world order", his wife left him for navy seal sakazuki.

If that happens then he should expect to see mobs carrying pitch forks around, he‘d need to lay low for a while.

No reveal will satisfy every reader, everybody has different expectations. He should just be prepared for the polarizing reactions. I’d be surprised af if it will have overwhelmigly positive acclaim.

Why would he need to exceed fans expectations?
It could be exactly what anyone was expecting and still be a good reveal.

Oda is not that complicated and he already knows what One Piece is. Its not going to change or get spiced up.
Wait and see.
