Break Week What if your prediction doesn't come true?

I mean i've seen quite a few members here going so overboard about their own prediction, constantly make threads about the same topic, trashing and clowning others who don't agree, trying so hard look badass, high-horse about yourself, low-hangin fruit about others, in order to push agendas etc etc mostly predictions related with powerlevel wank...

...but after all that, what if your prediction about this manga doesn't come true? Will you be fine about it? Will your disappointment lead you to bully people in real life or online? Will you endlessly rant about it?

No what you don't get is that Oda made a subversion story and if something does not happen is because [..].

They say it is theories, but it is really faith. There is almost no logic in how they move goalposts.

Also it's not break week?

I have "Theories"/"Headcanons" for nearly every chapter, post it alot. In 95% of the cases its wrong. But i just have fun create these theories and i dont have any issue with not being right most of the times. But i am even more happy if at some point, i am right!

I'll just have to wait for Zero Piece.

Does it matter if they are right or wrong? making theories/speculation/prediction is the fun of having a "discussion" in forums/reddit/discord. Isn't this why we are here? Why are you even here then? to comment "oh wow great chapter" for 10000x times?

If anyone goes so far as to shit talk others who don't agree on their prediction then just wait to laugh at them later :suresure:.

Thats about it... Don't just agree or disagree for your own preferences. Otherwise you exactly who you are addressing in this post. :goyea:

i believe that authors have to respect the readers' intelligence, i also believe that they have the right to run their series into the dirt if they wanted to.

i don't predict (that's headcanon territory), because i always assume the worse in authors to spare myself potential disappointment, instead, i keep track of important plot points and i wait for things to play out, then i issue my judgement.

for example, authors tend to push themselves into a corner by setting certain expectations, like:
-if the author made a character say that they will do something, but they end up not doing it, without any convincing reason to why they didn't do the thing they said they're gonna do. then that's the author's fault.
-if the author showcased that a character possesses certain abilities, but they never use said abilities when they need it, then that's the author's fault.

readers can't be blamed for expecting characters to do the things they said they wanna do, or use abilities they can use when the need arises, that's just common sense.
if the authors failed to provide a convincing narrative to why they didn't meet the expectation they themselves set, then the readers have all the right to be angry, and criticize the writing.

I've been predicting Ryokugyu will come to Wano , writing arguments like this :
https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/for...ting-beast-pirates-in-wano.26779/post-2921569

I think the first argument ( The Pattern Argument ) is pretty strong , it's my favourite . But if my prediction still doesn't come true , then i'll just be disappointed , and wondering further when he'll be introduced then .

Don't think i'll be angry at others if it doesn't come true , maybe rant a bit but not creating a thread to vent anger about it or lashes out at others .
