Back when I was dating, I always insisted we pay equally for the date, or in turns. I let the man pay only when he insisted harder, I was not going to fight him over this on a date. And I never thought less of anyone who accepted that we pay equally, on the contrary - it showed me that he saw me as his equal.
As for weakness or showing emotions - I never fell in love with anyone whose facade was only strong or perfect. The weaknesses are what made me fall in love with a man. Both in real life and in anime.
A perfect man doesn't need anyone beside him. But if my forte can complete a man's weakness, while his can complete mine, that's a perfect match. Both logically and emotionally.
