Saturn is some kind of demon / alien same as Imu and the others. There are some hints in the One Piece world, but not very clear ones of beings outside of the planet they are on. Things like Kaido for example. There are off-worlders like the Lunarians. What says there's no other worlds beyond the moon?

Imu and his ilk might be the invaders. Gorosei and Imu likely never consumed any DF but got the immortality surgery.

Only alternative I can think of is that there was an ancient race like Oars who were the rulers of the world and everything was stolen from them, so history was rewritten with humans as the rules of the world.

Ah, so he's just a human. I was thinking he might be more than that because the Yonko are all abnormal monsters. Kaido is an Oni, Big Mom was born a freak, Blackbeard can consume two Devil Fruits, Whitebeard apparently comes from the same race as Kuma, known for being very strong and having giant blood, and Shanks is the Haki god.
Yes, indeed. As demonically as Saturn may appear, he is a human that has consumed a demonic, mythical Zoan.

How does that compare however to a being that was not only born an Oni, but gained the power of the Azure Dragon, who, in mythology, is considered as the Dragon god and one of the most powerful deities. An azure dragon on its own would already be far superior to a mere Ushi Oni, let alone a hybrid of azure Dragon and an Oni.

@Sasaki Kojirō people hyped the shit out of Saturn's ability to shoot invisible projectiles through his glance that are incapable of one shotting either Sanji or Bonney.

Meanwhile, carrying islands through the air and instantly melting them is a side power of the Azure Dragon to round up his main features, which are abnormal physical stats, both offensively and defensively.

They think a Yokai like Ushi Oni is relevant in the face of a Dragon God.

Exactly, I don't understand the exaggeration. Having your defense broken by a knife without any advanced Haki, while Kaido sent the protagonist to go train in Udon by punching iron plates, they seem to forget that. While breaking those iron blocks is considered a failure.

Shooting projectiles at Bonney, suffocating her, wasn't enough to knock her out, but Base Kaido defeating 9 powerful and insane Samurai in his base form and knocking them out for 11 chapters isn't more impressive than the incredible Saturn-sama, the final villain of the EOS, who will turn Kaido into a YC3, failing to achieve any decent feat in his awakened form introduction, while Base Kaido in his introduction was shooting at Luffy after WCI, and in his hybrid form, he defeated Luffy, Zoro, and Law, with Law receiving a total blitz... But none of this is more impressive than the great Saturn Sama failing to knock out Bonney and asking the Marines for help to finish her.

It's a Luffy with Advanced Coating (even if clumsy), Ryou, Future Sight, after the training in Udon being defeated in 1 or 2 chapters, but that's not more impressive than the awakened Saturn failing to defeat Bonney and Sanji.

No, releasing Lasers with enough power to fail to one-shot Bonney and Sanji is beyond the facade of carrying an island for hours and transporting it to the capital. :luffylaugh:

Kaidou is dragon king, king of wisdom, strongest living creature, (Greg who writes on the official Op website and has future information about the chapters refers to Kaidou as the strongest living creature on the planet), king of beasts.

A devil. Not THE devil, he clearly isn't responsible for the fruits. But the "guy who had op op surgery" kind of ideas should be out the window because y'know, he emerged from a big ass pentagram and paralyzed a YC by sheer presence

Yes, basically Saturn only looks like a monster when using his Zoan power, while Kaido is already like that by birth, a demon who consumed the Blue Dragon, a deity that in Oda's culture represents power.

There's a reason why the Five Elders placed Kaido's fury on the same pedestal as awakening the supposed ancestral rival of theirs (Nika), a demon with a Devil Fruit that allows him to transform into a dragon, with divine resilience compared to an admiral.

If we wanted to take down Saturn, all it would take is a topic about Bonney and Sanji vs. Kaido in his strongest assassination mode.

Since Saturn is apparently using his strongest awakened mode, but no, the drunken killer kaidou is overkill, Base Kaidou would have done better than Saturn here.

Yes, after all, Kaido used neither conqueror's coating, nor his Devil Fruit for amplification. He didn't even use advanced forms of Thunder Bagua (like Roaring Thunder Bagua or Destroyer of Death). He didn't even use both arms. Yet a blow to Luffy's head, who has high resilience to blunt force, was knocked out cold.

I confess that things aren't looking good for Saturn, the guy who's going to make the yonkous look like YC3.

Doflamingo was turning pale just hearing of Kaido's name, terrified of angering him. Yet the same Doflamingo was blackmailing the entire WG and playing it for a fool, saying that they couldn't kill him no matter how much they tried, so they simply complied and did whatever Doflamingo wanted. Makes you wonder, how is Doflamingo terrified of hearing Kaido's name but is completely fine with making a fool out of a supposed god tier (Imu) who has 5 Kaido level underlings and huge military power, yet unable to get rid of Doflamingo, not even with Saturn's magic circle, that would allow him to pop up right before Doflamingo.

Let's ignore everything that Oda wrote, please. Look at the government on a superficial level; they can destroy Dressrosa whenever they want. Oda inserting all this dialogue and making the divine-tier gods who fail to knock out Bonney, getting free shots, passing through these embarrassments of beings blackmailed by a Shichibukai doesn't matter. Please don't pay attention to what Oda and Orochi said when they stated that the GT+ Marine, when combined, can't bring down Wano, with Green Bull subsequently coming to the forefront and validating this information, with Kinemon, who hated Kaido himself, the one who killed his beloved Oden, admitting that Kaido's monstrous presence was what kept these guys away from Wano. Please, comrade, just look at everything superficially. 😭😭😭😭😭

Saturn wanted just to feel the pain, case he is immortal and life for him is boring. This is not Crydo situation

Even after Kaido's fall, the Gorosei stated that it was smart to keep the borders up, as to say, even with Kaido gone, it would not be easy for them. In fact, it wasn't for centuries. Wano being an important historical hotspot and hosting an ancient weapon, yet the WG failed to conquer it, only for Kaido to do what the WG couldn't, ruling over the Wano country, as he is the embodiment of might. It becomes obvious why Greenbull said that he, as an Admiral, would not have stepped foot into Wano with Kaido present.

Receiving that scar on his forehead from a random traumatized him to the point of him going to the ends of the world in search of the surgery of the OPE OPE no Mi...
This is not Crydo situation
Kaidou wouldn't even be injured by Bonney's sword.

38 years ago in God Valley Saturn already have that scar, so try again.

Saturn didn't use any type of Haki to defend himself, while Kaido's body probably have permanent coating. But again, Saturn wanted to feel the pain and that is the difference.

Man, why am I trying? It doesn't matter when he already had this scar, what matters is that he has one and was seriously injured by someone in the past.

It was never talked about kaidou having permanent coating, it was always about his durability and his scales, everything else beyond that is his Headcanon.
But again, Saturn wanted to feel the pain and that is the difference.
Feeling the pain of a paper cut caused by fodder like Bonney, great pain.
Kaidou was ignoring powerful punches from the monstrous Luffy using G4.
