Powers & Abilities what is the Hierarchy of Flames?

#41
It has never been established anywhere, saying something repeatedly doesn't make it true:hapnoel:

The only thing we're told is that Sanji's blue flames > Sanji's fodder tier orange flames:saden:
I don't know if you are trolling, but let us use real world science.
Falme temperature is directly correlated to temperature. I used google search as a souce. You can chose to be asshole and think you know better.
Red:
Indicates the coolest temperatures, often around 500°C to 800°C.
Orange:
Represents a slightly hotter temperature, generally between 900°C to 1,100°C.
Yellow:
Signifies a further increase in temperature, with flames typically ranging from 1,200°C to 1,300°C.
Blue:
A blue flame indicates a very hot flame with temperatures potentially reaching 1,400°C or higher, particularly when the combustion is complete.
White:
The hottest flames, usually bluish-white, occur when temperatures exceed 2,700°F (1,500°C).

Ace is generally at Orange range.
Magma also has temperature range typically 700°C-1300°C. Some types of magma goes up to 1600°, but I don't know if Akainu's magma is of that type. Hard to quantify where Akainu's temperature will be by this data, but Akainu says his magma is hotter than Ace's fire, so that would put him around 1300°C.
Sanji's flames are blue, so he around 1400°C mark.
Sanji's flames beat Akainu's in theory, but Oda can chose to give Akainu higher temperature by modifying his Magma type.
The destructive power of Sanji is always downplayed, but Sanji can cook your insides easily with Ifrit. Able to hurt Luffy in G5 is not an easy feat.

It was never stated Akainu's magma is hotter than Ace's fire. We just know Akainu's magma beats out Ace's fire. This would hold true irl as well, as Magma's sheer mass lets it absorb heat and deprive fire of oxygen to snuff it out.

Although it's not impossible his magma is hotter than Mera flames, it definitely should not be hotter than blue flames, but it would likely still snuff those flames out regardless.

How does magma vs Amaterasu go?

So what I’m hearing is Akainu stands no chance against Wanji when he unlocks black flames? :steef:
Depends on the size too though, it's not like Sanji with black flames could beat out blazing bagua in a clash.

But yea given the same size, locally, black flames should not be able to be consumed.

I would’ve preferred it if Oda had given Sanji plain blue flames.

The plasma effects come with insane implications well beyond fire hot.

it's not dependent on the heat. It's the viscosity and mass of magma that smothers flames

Amaterasu would also be smothered
Nah there's a limit to it. If something is hot enough it would have trouble smothering it, rather the heat could break down the magma itself. Amaterasu looks out of reach isn't it infinitely burning or someshit? But like I said size matters too.

If it's based PURELY on HEAT, Blue flames from Sanji are at the top.

"hurr durr audhiusahiduhasudhsauhdsahiu"
I said based purely on HEAT.

As far as destructive power goes, Akainu's Magma fruit stands at the top.
By One Piece rules of "Devil Fruit hierarchy", it should be something like Oven's heat fruit<Ace/Sabo Fire fruit<Akainu's magma fruit.

Magma is not FIRE. Magma is molten ROCK. The "real world" reason for Magma "beating" fire would be that the molten rock simply suffocates the fire, cutting its oxygen and, therefore, preventing the combustion from happening.

Now, the trick part is that, depending on your AGENDA, "magma-like" flames can mean either 2 things. Either it is physically like magma, which would put it above even blue flames per OP world rules, or it can just mean how HOT it is, which would keep it below.

In the end, it's just that.
Agenda.

King could use magma-like flames but not blue flames

Blue flames >> magma-like flames
