General & Others What is your opinion on the Straw Hat Pirates' separation story arc ?

The title says all. When you first read or watched the separation of the Straw Hat crew at the end of Saobody arc what was your personnal opinion about it ?
Were you shocked ? Were you curious ? Were you saddened ?

And what did you think about the respective arcs for each Straw Hat from Luffy being on Amazon Lily to Brook's demoniac adventures with the longarms passing to Sanji's journey in hell (the other name for Momoiro Island) or Robin at Tequila Wolf ? What was your favorite of these mini plotlines and islands ?

Are you satisfied of the results of this separation today ?

I think everyone was shocked when best boy Kuma separated the crew in Sabaody. They were powerless to do anything, Luffy's despair etc.

We really felt the power difference between the rookies and the real deals.

It was great. I loved it.

About their side stories : Luffy, Sanji, Zoro had the best ones overall. Ussop one was good : his adventures with Hercules were fun, being fat, then running and fighting etc. Robin one and Franky were not bad. Brook really average in the beginning but the fact he became a rock star was cool. Chopper and Nami stories were meh.

I also loved the way the crew reunited. Return to sabaody was so hypeeeee. Th fake SH plot line was fun, and the real SH new feats were insane for the readers.

Usopp letting himself go was probably more shocking than Sanji becoming an okama.

nah luffy,franky,zoro was the best brook was pretty enjoyable sanji,nami,ussop were ok i disliked robins tho

It was a sad moment to see Luffy unable to do anything to stop it. He felt as if he was weak for the first time and got a second wake up call with Ace death. He grew from it though.

Regarding their respective arcs. Luffy and Zoro had the best ones and the best teachers they could have.
Sanji's one was funny but Oda fucked up with him imo, he wasn't properly trained as the other 2, he should have been trained by a legend too.
Nami and robin's ones were good too.
I liked what happened to Franky too even though I don't like his post ts design that much.

I disliked the ones of Brook, Usopp and Chopper. Especially Brook and Chopper, didn't seem like they could get anything from it to get stronger.

Agree, i would say that the whole sabaody arc was probably the most refreshing and hyping arc over all the arcs, and imo the best with this very end. Idk why ppl don't put it in the top 1 best arc, above W7 EL imo by far

I loved the Sanji storyline in Kamabakka and a part of me was ready to see him staying a permanent Okama 👍 i also loved the Zoro-Perona interactions,and i was pretty intrigued by the Franky in Vegapunk island storyline and by the Nami storyline. The Robin storyline was dark but very interesting too.

I liked Robin's story mainly because of the mystery of Tequila Wolf and the anime did a superb job in giving it a unique atmosphere.

Brook's & Chopper's were the least interesting but still had some funny moments.
