General & Others What Oda did to Law was really bad. He did him dirty.

Obviously, I'm a Zoro fan. What Zoro did on the rooftop is insane, he was easily the MVP of the rooftop. I'm very satisfied and pleased with his performance, and even if he doesn't come back, which is still a possibility, I'll still be satisfied.

But what about Law?
He's my second favorite character in One Piece. I really think Oda did him dirty for the sake of giving Luffy a 1vs1 fight. We haven't seen anything from him.
- Law has the same potential as Luffy, Kid, and Zoro.
- He's a captain.
- He is the third most popular character in OP after Luffy and Zoro. He is more famous than Kid and even Sanji.
- He's been with the straw hats since Punk Hazard.
- He was the true mastermind behind the plan of taking down Kaido.
- He was still doing okay when he left the rooftop.

Even Kid is going to fight Big Meme (though I think he will lose eventually), but he is still gonna fight her.
we gotta see what laws gonna do i wouldn't count it out yet he might even help kidd vs bm bro the reason i think oda removed law from the rooftop is to meet up with drake or just stick to fighting bm because luffy was needed is 1v1 against kaidou Laws still gonna be doing big things just give it time trust there is lots to do in this war

Oda doesn't need a good reason for removing Law from rooftop because he didn't even had a good reason to be there at first place. Is that hard to understand that?
You're basically saying the writing was shit so let it continue to stay shitty, no reason to criticize it. What is this logic even?
Law made up his reason right now at Onigashima, after Doffy defeat he was without any reason.
Okay that you're really pushing your headcanon there. Law learned about the red poneglyphs at Zou (why do you think Oda even bothered to make him present at the red poneglyphs reveal and made him listen to the whole conversation? He could just let him stay with his crew instead, right?) and expressed a lot of interest in them through the numerous panels of him reacting. There he also learned that some of them in a possession of Yonko. So in order to get them he needs to confront a Yonko. Oda carefully thought everything through, if you missed it try to pay more attention to the details next time.
And at Onigashima Oda just made a final confirmation for Law's interest/goal.
Law doesn't need to beat Kaido to find the poneglyph. He found that blue one without beating him, inside his island.
Wrong. It's you pushing your headcanon again. Ofc he found the blue one without any effort, because that's a regular poneglyph. The main point of that scene and the flashback with Robin is to show us that getting the red poneglyph isn't going to be that easy for Law and in order to get it Kaido needs to be taken down. Like, what are you even arguing here against, against manga plot? T__T
Why the hell Law thinks he can beat Kaido now but didn't fought with Luffy back then at Wano?
Where did I say Law thinks he can beat Kaido alone by himself (or even with Luffy)? T____T Can you try to actually read for a moment? Why do you think the alliance with him, minks and samurai was formed in the first place?
Law is one of the strongest fighters on the raid, him fighting Kaido with the rest of the group increases their chance to win and for Law to get what he wants. So he fights for what he wants. Like, it is that simple, try not to look at everything through the powerscale lenses sometime.

Given the fact tgat Kidd was planned and Law was not
That's actually not true, both of them (same for the rest of supernovas) were made on a whim. Oda never said Kid is an exception of this, he just thought Kid would be important, not that he planned him way before the Supernovas idea was born or that Law originally had no plot at all.

Dude, please... If you ever went to a place without any reason do you need a good reason for leaving that place? That is my point. The shit writting Oda made with Law should first be correct by a good reason for Law staying before a good reason for Law leaving.

You say I'm on head cannon and then just confirmed what I said. Okay maybe Law was showing some interesting but he just made a real choice when he was in front of that poneglyph at Onigashima.

If you take manga plot, Roger literally got 3 Red Poneglyphs without fighting including the BM one. Luffy got his first without fighting. Brook just had to fight after but it still possible to get red poneglyphs from Yonkos without fighting. Scabbards knows where is the red poneglyph of Wano. And we have to wait to see the last one. So manga characters are just stupid as Luffy wanting to beat all Yonkos thinking this is the way to become Pirate King.

Where the hell I said you said that statement of Law beating Kaido? I said this because it is what manga shows. Law didn't fought back then with Luffy when Kaido was alone but he did everything at that raid to fight now. What changed in his perspective? And your line about powerscale makes no sense at all.
Law changed from 2v1 with Luffy x Kaido to a 30k x 4k the army of Kaido x army of Scabbards.

You just proved to me again that you can't read what the person you're talking to says. Or don't want to. And also uncapable of understanding of a certain plot points. Let's agree to disagree and move on before you make up another argument I never even brought up.

I read pretty well and understood the plot too. You just can't accept being contradicted.

Law may still have his fights. It does seem that Oda is using Law in support roles and he is shining. I don't think he is done yet.

It is interesting that Law has this amazing Devil Fruit, but his character is connected to one of the biggest mysteries of the series. Luffy doesn't care that he is a D or what that means. It is just who he is. I care and I want to see how the will of the D connects to the world of One Piece. Is it necessary for Law to take center stage in fights for him to learn about what being a D means?
