the strawhats are basically good and friendly version of rocks they defeated 3 warlords and befriend 4 and kuma helped them they destroyed cp9 and assaulted a celestial dragon that basically what rocks did go against the WG the only difference is that they don’t go around killing each other

Beast Pirates.
Quite a lot of notorious pirates, some of them not going well with each other.
What bind some of them together is power, especially Kaido's overwhelming power.
I'm pretty sure, after BP-BM alliace down, some of BP's members will take their own way that is different from BP's philosophy.
BB pirates also has some resemblance with Rocks, especially with newly recruited members.

Rocks were not said to be functional.
they had a bunch of insanely powerful individuals. that makes for a bad team though.
Rocks reigned them through power and not loyalty.
BB, if anything. his crew was ready to split if Teach showed weakness/failed during MF.
its pretty much a similar situation.
Teach gathers a bunch of lvl6 inmates and flaunts his power to keep them in line.
Pizarro even said that he should be captain.
that is the sort of crew Rocks was depicted to be.

if you take out Rocks or BB theirs crews crumble on their own and the members will start doing their own thing again.
