I'm diabetic, type 1.
sometimes I read about my disease as a part of our training as medical student. when I reach the part when the textbook talks about the complications, things get really gloomy for me.
diabetes is a progressive disease, it can be delayed but it cannot be stopped no matter what.
the feeling of "what I'm reading rn will inevitably occur to me one day no matter what I do" is the scariest thought that came to my mind.
