The Dark King... because he willingly lived in the shadow of the Pirate King despite being comparable to him and could have been a king in his own right.

Similar to Zoro, his current time parallel, and possibly similar to Beckman to a lesser extent if he doesn't disappoint.

Though I think he is a dark king coz he lived in the shadow of another. Ray could have been as big as WB, Shiki, BM and Roger. Even Xebec. Don't get me wrong he is already a very big name but being a great pirate captain that's challenging the pirate king gets you way more infamy and notoriety than being a right hand to the PK. This will be confirmed by the bounty Ray gets. Probably something less than WB, Kaido and BM.

I literally have shown you evidence of every King title being strength-related. Do you think Ray's is an exception?
Another thing you are failing at is context, Rayleigh has been inactive for decades, drinking himself to sleep while Garp was active soldier.
Another thing you fail at is thinking Aokiji and Kizaru are equal, they are not. We have seen their performance against Whitebeard.
One is trying hard against him while the other is zapping him without even bothering to look at him.
One is sloppy to get blitzed by old man while the other is speed itself.

And no, Garp didnt take countless members of BBPs by himself, he had plenty of help.
Not like anyone else matters other than Kuzan and Shiryu who never teamed-up at the same time but always faced Garp in 1vs1.
And to get back at the narrative failure, that was Garp's send off gift, temporarily holding out vs Kuzan and Shiryu before getting rekt, just like Marco temporarily looked like hot shit before getting negged by King alone. Meanwhile, Rayleigh is still there and his performance against Kizaru aint a send off gift to make him look great before he is offed.

I wish you had the same bias for sanji as you do kizaru. Sanji and kizaru are similar style fighters.
