I don't know man. If the goal was to make him indecisive in the end, I feel it could've been handled much better. Yet we got Stella dying like a dog with literally no tension, so much so that I wasn't really convinced that a character of that magnitude died in such a manner and Kizaru nonchalantly ending him. There should've been more emphasis on that internal conflict if Oda really wanted to go this route imo. Kizaru also really didn't have to kill Vegapunk with his own hands and even if he did, it should've been written in such a way that it'd have been somewhat relatable to the readers. Instead all we got is Kizaru randomly giving Luffy food with the intent to save Vegapunk apparently, nonchalantly ending him with his own hands and then getting emotional about it afterwards. As a neutral it doesn't really make me like Kizaru anymore than I already did, hell I like him even less now as a result of it. Don't feel like Oda did the character justice at all.

Kizaru killing Vegapunk in a massive spread would have solved your issue here. Oda def could have done a better job, but the hints are all there in retrospect.

Thought that everything Kizaru did after that made the idea of him delivering the food nonsense.

Felt that his speech at the end with Akainu was a crowning moment for the character and the end of a really strong character arc.

And now I’m forced to look back at his entire arc and wonder what on earth Oda was doing with him. Am I meant to think of him as this sort of miserable cog in the machine without any real guts? I don’t think that is what Oda intends, but then, I don’t think he intended Big Mom to come across as a total incompetent who would get mauled by Kaido.

He probably planned to join the Revolutionary army to reunite with his old marine buddy Dragon after receiving orders to kill his friend Vegapunk and Sentomaru.

So it would make sense why he pulled that risk with Saturn nearby and not giving a f anymore.

condom didn't even know it was kizaru that fed him lol. Else he'd have some kind of reaction there. He failed to even sense kizaru moving. Insane speed feat for kizaru.

And this also proves kizaru was NEVER even half serious at all. So condom boy had to go all out to draw with a kizaru that was not even giving his 1%. Yet kizaru still got up from goofy's acoc wsg within seconds and perception blitzed goofy by giving him food.

Oda just shattered all the goofy fanbase with a single sbs lmao

No wonder Kizaru had to kill punk...

He gave the yonko so many chances to escape with punk. Yet the yonko still failed to protect him and ultimately punk got stabbed by Saturn's poison. What awaited punk was a slow and painful death.

Kizaru showed mercy by killing punk then and there instead of letting him suffer anymore. Which also triggered the broadcast too.

Nobody mentioned anything about it at all in the manga lmfao, that's why Oda talked about it in an SBS instead, why didn't Luffy wonder who fed him even after the arc was over?

He clearly threw Kizaru onto a ship so as not to kill the guy who gave him food, only one coping is you:luffylaugh:
